Car Decals

Not just MC related stuff BUt do you have ANY decals on your car at all?

I'm interested in putting a smallish one on my rear window (at the top).
How do I do it? Is it just a sticker or does it have to be specifically a car decal?

Nope, just the shoei sticker, nothing else goes on my cars.

I've never been a decal kind of gal but I'm going to give it a try.

I bought my car used and there was a stupid TAP OUT decal on it that obviously was removed. I never noticed it when I test drove it but then I started to realize I could sort of see something when I looked in my rear view mirror. You can see the "shadow" of where the decal was.

Hell i didn't even know what "Tap Out" was and I had to google it. :rofl:

I have several on my vehicles, on my car they are mostly performance company stickers, but I also have a few fun stickers, I have the classic "yes its fast, no you cant drive it" And a few others, My truck is covered with what my brother calls "redneckish" stickers, The Jeep only has one small Chicago Bears sticker on it.

As far as if it has to be a car decal or just a sticker, it doesn't have to be a car decal however just a regular sticker usually fades and tears a lot quicker. Especially with all the snow and stuff. Just make sure the window is nice and clean first. with as smaller sticker you should be fine with just sticking it on. With a larger one you can wet the window with windex and lay it over that, then you can slide the sticker around till its straight and then use a credit car or something to squeeze the liquid from under it. (just make sure to let it dry for like 12 hours)

I have sprint car decals on each of my back, side windows. They are supposed to look like etched glass, but have been on so long that they are cracked in places.

I put them on just by cleaning the window first. Just make sure if it's something like mine - that you put them on the right way. I screwed mine up the first time so I had to buy another set.

posted in the other thread about my mc stickers but I also have a sticker that says country girl with a colt in cowboy boots on the back side glass of the Jeep. I love it when Jeeps drives and gets crazy looks. Once at a gas station a guy came up to him and said man your the ugliest girl I've ever seen. :dvrofl:

We only have a couple on our cars for our motorcycle business and a local forum we support. We have a decal/vinyl machine so hubby is always getting customers requesting weird stuff for their cars/bikes.

That would be one of my concerns. Other would be that there are so many Obommy supports that I would hate to have to testify that I shot somebody for vandalizing my car due to my sticker. I don't think that would go over real well... shooting somebody cause they f'ed with my car.
