Do it man, even if you don't like it, it's a free ride on a new bike.

Just curious, have you ridden the 1125 version, or just the air cooled models?

several of the air cooled. Hated them. Couldn't give me one. turned me off buell's for good. 1125 better? describe the difference for me?

Less vibes, Longer powerband (redline at 10.5K) slightly different handling.

Also add hydraulic clutch and a slipper clutch.

You may still not like it, but at least give one a shot if you get a chance.
It bears some resemblance to my old SV650S as far as rideability etc.

Ok - sounds like 180 degrees from the bikes I rode and all the qualities I couldn't STAND.
Off to figure out where to test ride one (well, once the snow melts...again)

I can go to most dealers around here and test ride whatever I want, I just have to FIND the Buell dealer :)

You could test ride a new GSXR1000?
or any other liter bike for that matter?

Impressive. Can't do that around here, new or used, no matter your experience...

and the 3 dealers that are closest to you.

Buell of Seattle
5711 188th ST SW
Lynnwood, WA

Eastside Buell
14408 N.E. 20th St.
Bellevue

Legend Buell
9625 Provost Road NW
Silverdale, WA

Don't have any personal knowledge of them, but Eastside Buell offers the Riders Edge classroom training, so probalby a more Buell friendly dealership.

Yup. I know most of the dealers around here and they know me. It's not the norm, I'm fortunate. The dealers like hearing me talk about what I think of the bikes - I've actually been published for my bike opinions! I'm very lucky!

idk, it's the jap dealers around here that are so uptight.
KTMs and triumph are no issue either. No Duc or BMW dealers around here, so couldn't tel ya on them.
