The groves are cut to make the tires DOT legal. The pattern is basically meaningless.

I've heard that these tires are supposed to offer more feedback than the PRC's and PR3-4-5's of last year.

The PR's would grip and then let go with very little slippage as warning.

I loved the front profile of the PRC, great tire, but yeah, Michelins give out with no warning. I tucked the front in T1, I'm sure I did something wrong that caused the front to lose traction but instead of sliding first to let me know I fucked up it was there one second and gone in the next tenth of a second.

I am anxious to try them, I will probably get a set the next time I go to the track, but I don't know when that will be.

Not really.

$400 a set is actually pretty good for race tires. The only brand you'll find cheaper are B-Stones.

We pay @ $450 for a set of Dunlops BUT that includes mount and balance.

I'm paying 460 installed and balanced for corsa 3's in cdn coin...
