I'm ready to make another purchase but I can't find what I'm looking .... I'm making the switch from H&K to Glock. Last week I fired a 23 and fell in love, I just can't find them new anywhere.

We have Glocks new all over the place.

I'm up in the air on what I want to get.

Springfield XD
Glock
Sig P229

All in the .40 cal.

Suggestions?

The Sigs are nice but they are $1000. I don't like the grip safety on the XD's. It's personal preference though. You need to buy what feels best in your hand. Go to a range and pick out several to shoot and buy the one you like the best.

If there was a range anywhere close that had guns to shoot I would.

As for the sigs, there are some that are clearanced locally for $700
I've not had the opportunity to shoot one, or the glock. but a friend has an XD that i've fired. Not too bad.

You can pick up a P250 for under $700 but not a 229 or a 226. If you can buy in right now because that's a steal.

this thing is light and has way too smooth of an action. it's like shooting a bb gun

id spend the extra moolah on the sig, glocks have always come across to me as cheap or cookie cutter. then again i tend to like wierd unique shit. i really want a daewoo DH40
