I stopped on the way home at my local grocers last night..had my Alpinestars SMX boots on...they "squeak" when i walk... :rofl:
For the non SBSP fans..there's an episode where he wears "squeaky" boots...
Kid must have been 5-6 years old :lol:

I was leaving the Big Boys Toy Show (a boat/motorcycle/car show) at a convention center here in Wichita....put my black riding jack on....slammed my black Icon lid with a smoked visor onto my head...when this little kid walked by and said "Dad! Cool! He looks like Darth Vadar!!"
It was AWESOME.... :lmao: :rockwoot:

The other thing about SMX+ boots is the titanium piece scrapes the paint off swingarms.

The little girl said to her mom, "Mommy, does he have to wear all that stuff on his motorcycle?"
Mom said, "No, but it's the smart thing to do."
I thought that was pretty cool.

The little girl said to her mom, "Mommy, does he have to wear all that stuff on his motorcycle?"
Mom said, "No, but it's the smart thing to do."
I thought that was pretty cool.

I had a friend that had a hawk. He could actually pull it off. The best part about it was hearing everyone ask how much hair gel he used as part of every convo. I saw another dude with one, but he was goofy going into it.. and well.. goofier coming out. It just doesn't fit everyone.. or.. hardly anyone for that matter.

Let it go,man! I've had SMX+ boots for 5 or 6 years (maybe more) and I have never noticed any "scraping" on the 3 bikes I've worn them on. Now of course they were 3 GSXRs so :idk: Besides,I don't have a Ti piece on the instep of the boot.

I guess it all depends on the shape of the swingarm, the size of your feet, and how you ride. They sure scraped the swingarm of my 05 R6. :idk: I ride with the ball of my feet on the pegs, and my ankle pressed up against the bike, so yeah they're gonna rub.

On my bike. :nee: I was stopped at a railroad crossing. When the guard rails went up, the car in front of him rolled foward. He did too, but was too busy gawking at me on the bike to notice the guy in front of him stopped. He bumped him at a roll. I still heard plastic crunch.

I meant Redtail Hawks. I duct tape a bird to the top of my helmet because I'm that awesome.
