What the **** is the deal with you? What is going on in your head? why are you contradictory? why would you blatantly tell me something knowing full well its impossible for me to do? Why do you expect me to be like every other boyfriend you've ever had, whom you've broken up with because they are an ass hole? Why do you insist on letting me take you out for expensive dinners, yet can justify talking all night about how you want to spend a 500 dollar DAY at the spa. Why do you constantly text your friends and talk on the phone RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME... Why, oh why, do you criticize me for being myself? Why do you think i like to hear about your "guy friends" or how your ex is your good friend.

Why am i not talking much? well ****, cause if i actually said what was on my mind half the night i'd never end up sleeping with you, and considering your personality is about as appealing to me as licking a public urinal, your looks are all i care about at this point...

my bitch on that subject is i am expected to run around the world 8 billion times but i ask you to walk 5 feet and it starts world war iii - i do my part why is it so hard for her to do hers? there is only one answer - stay single and buy a different hooker every week and if you want kids then just find a distant cousin you can trust.. it would be cheaper and less stress..

so here is my rant.. work.. what a chaotic clusterfuck work is.. i truly believe there are two types of people that i know of in my work experience.. those that do and those that do nothing.. i am part of those who do.. so i get rewarded by more fucking work.. the stress mounts.. the more i walk on water the more i am expected to do so.. i am just to the point right now that is an impasse.. i would like to do something different but i make good money and work close to home.. it would be hard to make a change.. but alot of days i question why the fuck i even go into the office.. at least i have a decent boss.. i call him 1-2 times a year and say listen i had enough i am just not coming in today.. no i am not sick no there is nothing that needs to be done i just need a day of not working.. and he says ok see you tomorrow or whatever.. my company is so fucked up.. first my division has a deep history.. back to 1919.. we have a wide variety of customers.. but for whatever reason the mothership decides to cut my fucking legs out from under me constantly.. example - i started there in 2002 and was basically plugged in because purchasing, estimating and engineering couldn't support the effort.. so i took it on and successfully did a little of everything.. helped them up their sales from like $4 million to $12 million... i told them easy they could do $20-$30 million at 20% ebit and even told them a plan to do it.. will they listen? fuck no.. then they take a division that has nothing to do with us and merge us.. so we successfully took black and white and merged it into gray.. a division that lost $10 million on $20 million worth of sales now was making money.. we were gaining back customers and their trust.. we were well on our way to hitting the $20-$30 million @ 20% so what do they do? split our divisions back up and fuck the whole thing up.. its just frustrating trying to weed through all the corporate politics and bullshit.. i came from a family owned company where even though i was 5th in line at the company i did whatever it took to get it down from buying parts to running the quality system to working with engineering to loading trucks to unloading trucks to painting to working in the shop to driving trucks, etc. now my fucking hands are tied and i get the fucking what for if i try to do anything except my job even when its what needs to be done..

speaking of which another rant i have is jackfuck weekend cowboys that ride above their ability at the track and cause red flag sessions after like 2 laps.. good reason to stick to weekday trackdays.. last time i was at gingerman every session was red flagged and not restarted.. if you want to ride like a fucking idiot please do it somewhere else..

Amen, brother. I've been told that I need to use more tact my whole career. MAYBE when talking to higher ranks, but fuck the people below or equal to me. I've tried being nice and softening things up. Just can't do it. Fuck 'em.

Ofcourse, I got a ton of fucking grief from everyone and was accused of trying to keep people from doing trackdays. Plus,they made it out as if crashes are rare but when they happen no one gets hurt very badly. Maybe it's just a Michigan thing,I used to ride at Gingerman btw, but I used to see at least one really bad crash every week. I have honestly seen guys take bikes off trailers with less than 100 miles on them,admit it's their first bike or first sportbike,get on the track and try to be Nicky Hayden. We have guys on this forum who are hot to get on the track who also profess to have NEVER broken the speed limit on their bikes. How'd you like to follow that guy around for a session when the no passing rule is in effect for whatever reason. Telling someone they can learn how to ride a sportbike on the track is like telling someone to buy a dirt bike and learn to ride at Red Bud!!! Now I don't know what it's like on your tracks but at Grattan and Gingerman,if you've got the fee you're on baby. You sit thru a class,then a track briefing and lastly roll thru a half-ass tech inspection. Alot of the organizers let YOU choose what class you want to ride in. Also,these small time tracks aren't anything like the ones you see while watching a MotoGp race. No air fences(MAYBE haybales),limited gravel traps,limited run off, armco barriers/walls,potholes,ripples,sealer snakes,etc. Most of the small tracks up north are barely staying open so they can't afford to turn paying customers away...

My favorite pro-track arguement is the ,"if you had the same crash on the street you'd be dead" line of reasoning. While I tend to agree with this premise on the surface there is one fatal flaw...who in the hell is track style riding on the street? Let's take the recent track crash by one of our members. When was the last time you got on your bike in the rain,using tires whose wet weather characteristics were unfamiliar,on a unfamiliar road and went over 100mph? Me? NEVER! So that crash will NEVER happen to me on the street. How often do you go up and down a particular stretch of road over and over. Timing it. Trying to brake later and get on the throttle sooner in every corner in an effort to get thru that section of road faster. Me? NEVER! So that crash will never happen to me on the street. How likely is it that a guy who never even speeds on the street is going to have a single vehicle accident? Unlikely.I know guys who have ridden for 10+ years without an accident. If you do a trackday every weekend for 10 years and never crash then buddy you're not doing it right! Do I think riding hard is safer on the track? Yes. Do I believe in the inevitability of a motorcycle crash(s) for every rider on the street? No,not even sort of.

I can say I didn't cause a red at Barber. I picked the bike up and kept going after I finished sliding. Only caused a local yellow.

There was 9 reds that morning though. When it dried up, there wasn't very many.

ok... so to first off... I'll give you a little info so you'll understand things from my point of view. I'm IT, I'm the help desk for the hospital where I work, I work on all the computer here, there are 4 people in my office and together we over see 500 users and 450 computers, 200 printers, 8 servers, and 150 different software programs.

Each user has their own folder on 1 server called their P drive. this drive is for them and only they have access so it's where we tell them to store any info they want to save. Including personal folders(.pst files) from Outlook (e-mail). we do this so that if the individual computer crashes they don't loose all their info... with me so far? hope so... but basicly when they save they're supposed to save to the P: not C:

ok... so let me begin:rant:

last Thursday I get up at 0400 for my shift to start because we're on 12's due to the exercise (peace time disaster preparation exercise) around noon, I get notified that the Command Chief (The top enlisted member on base) sent out an e-mail with a virus to the entire base. FUCK! so I do some research to see when it was sent out... maybe we can catch it before anyones read it... Sent Wednesday morning... Double Fuck! Then because we have 24hr ops for the exercise... it means I have no idea what computers were used durring night shift! FUCK FUCK FUCK! I get a call from base Comm letting me know in order to sanatize the computer... I have to go into each persons profile on the computer (the first time a person logs into the computer it creates a profile...) this means on front desk computers there's gonna be multipul profiles... then I have to find a file and delete it. That's it! WOW simple enough... so I start... first computer I go to is a front desk computer. I log in (takes 15mins), and browse to the profiles... 180!!!! HOLY SHIT! no wonder it took so long. unfortunatly me being extreemly new to the base I don't know everyone who works at that computer... so I can't just delete the old and search the current members. so I make a command decision, as I was the only one on shift... and had 400+ computers to go... to just delete all the profiles... which should cause any fucking problems as the users know not to store anything on the C drive. so I work... from 0400 Thursday to 0800 Friday... cleaning all the fucking computers. 28 fucking hours... so I go home... sleep most of friday and try to get back on my sleep schedule durring the weekend.

So I come into work Yesterday and All HELL has broken loose... I've got 200 work orders of people who lost all their data and can't find this or that... so I start working down the list... 80% of them saved shit to the C drive and so in turn... lost it all... and I was to blame... I got my ass chewed out so many times yesterday I don't think I have an ass anymore... but the day ended and I only had 10 work orders left... and so I left came home and went to bed around 6pm...

Today I got up and went into work early... (shift starts at 7 I was there at 6) and someone comes beating at my door... normally I wouldn't answer till our official office hours begin (0730) but I thought it might have been someone from ER... wrong... it was a Major (13 ranks above me... yeah I'm a low E-5) bitch'n that I hadn't come to check on her work order... I replied that I was working through them and I still had 2 to go before her... she bitched a little more but I wasn't gonna do anything at least until my shift started... (I had work to catch up on that's why I came in early) so my shift starts and it goes pretty much like monday... people bitch'n about this and that... then I come to the Major...

She's in a panic because she's lost 3 weeks of e-mail... and all her contacts... I asked her where she was saving her stuff she told me the P drive... so I tell her well then there's no reason it should be gone... she assures me it is... so I restore her drive from a tape backup (took a couple hours) from before the virus... still nothing... so I spend another couple hours restoring it from another backup from the day before that. still nothing... so I have her log in... and check around... all the time she's bitching at me about how I don't know how to do my job... about how she used to do my job when she was enlisted and there was no reason for me to delete all the profiles off the computers... blah blah blah... so I tell her to go to her P drive... BOOM... all the files were there... she changes her tone a little saying Oh... well good I didn't wanna do all that work again... so I dig a little deeper...and restore from our most recent point... which was at 0600 Tuesday... all her stuff was still there... the dumb bitch didn't even LOOK to see if her stuff was there she assumed that because a lot of other people lost shit all her stuff was gone too!... I seriously had to bite my tounge the rest of the time I was around her... (took 2 mins to get logged back out and have her log back in) I wanted to punch her in the fucking face... UGH...

I fucking hate arrogant motherfuckers who are complete morons! I mean if your gonna be arrogant at least be some what intelligent and don't fucking bitch to me about how I don't know my fucking job and how you did my job and it wasn't nearly as hard and you did it with no help blah blah blah... all you've done is convince me to fuck with your account from now on when I'm bored and need to take out my frustrations.

actually when I left today I set her computer up so the D and K keys were switched... (when she types D it types K and vice versa... the keyboard isn't switched though) I also put it so when she hits the space bar it closes the Q key it closes the window she's in.

Oh... and I'm off tomorrow... and no one in my office knows about it... and I don't think they know how to switch it back... :whistle:

1. The parking lot nazi - she walks the lot every morning not because anyone told her to but because she is a fucking busy body and doesn't have enough to do and worries about everyone except her self and makes sure every car is parked in the proper spot - blue for executive & directors, yellow for senior managers and the rest are everyone else. She actually told my boss who is a director why did he park in general parking? like it fucking matters. then he parks in senior manager parking and 1 spot away from director parking and she actually made him move 1 fucking spot.

2. The clock watcher - stands at the door at 1pm and points at their watch when you come in from lunch at 1:01pm. I told him one day if he points at his watch one more fucking time i will break his god damn finger and shove his watch up his ass.

3. The payroll nazi - he is a bitch that is the biggest cunt bag the world has ever seen. Changes the timesheet form every week and doesn't tell anyone then rejects the timesheet because its on the wrong form. And the forms become less and less usable - my pet peeve - if you are going to create a fucking excel spreadsheet for others to use FUCKING FORMAT IT YOU DUMBSHIT. She also mistakenly overpaid my Revamp Manager once and when he brought it to her attention she went ballastic that she doesn't make mistakes blah blah blah then she wants him to do all this shit to fix it - um hello its your fucking job you dumb bitch and you fucked it up. Then she was going to take the money back plus interest out of his next check. He said um no you are going to take a personal check from me for the overpaid amount and like it.

4. The cell phone nazi - her job is to issue cell phones to people - end of story. But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO that is not good enough. she goes through every bill with a microscope and then reports discrepancies to me about the people that work for me. She is like um so and so had a high bill this month - I said yeah well he is a fucking outside salesman who is on the road 5-7 days a week selling shit so if his bill is high then that is because he is SURVEY SAYS selling shit. Then one month she says you know you had $17 in text - ok first off of the 600 cell phones in the company my bill is the lowest by far - the next closest is 50% higher than mine - I never use my minutes - I use my desk phone and alot of people I talk to are on verizon. So i said oh yeah $17? I said that $17 got the company about $500,000 in new sales - did you not want me to talk to the customer? I can reimburse you the $17 fucking dollars in fucking pennies that you can shove up your fat ass.

5. The quality "guru" - ok i think they said who is the most incompetent worthless bitch in the company? Oh her let's make her senior manager of quality. The quality procedures are so fucking vague that you couldn't figure out if you are supposed to or not supposed to do something. But the auditor comes in and the check clears for $100,000 for the audit and we pass. And not only is she dumb and the forms and procedures all fucked up but she is arrogant as well - what a great combo that is dumb and cocky.

6. The purchasing idiot - again they said who is the most incompetent fuckwad in the company? oh him - make him purchasing director. Under his command two years ago we lost $10 million on jobs that should have easily made money. Last year he did "better" - lost $2.9 million. After talking to my mom AGAIN about bikes, she is convinced that everyone I know who rides a bike is just extremely lucky. I have explained to her numerous times that while bikes are more dangerous than cars, the fatality rate is high because you have alot of stupid people, mostly teens, that ride with their balls and not their brain. Still she insists that everyone who rides is endowed with extreme luck. If she only knew that dirtbike riding can be just as dangerous as street riding she would...well she would probably make me get rid of my dirtbike. Okay, time to get this thread back on track of ranting and you've prompted it with that comment. You're absolutely correct, we customer service folks do get tired of the idiots. There are many out there. Luckily, only about 25% of the folks I deal with are complete jackasses. Take last night for instance, the first phone call of the night was a couple who wanted to check on, and then modify, the beneficiaries to their accounts. Very simple task, can be done in 5 minutes or less on the web. However, I was on the phone with them for 35 fucking minutes.

Why the fuck so long? Because the fucking morons couldn't follow instructions. They were both on speakerphone (which is a pain in the ass already) and fucking arguing back and forth about what step to take next. If they would have fucking listened, there wouldn't be any problem. I know that it's sometimes difficult to find things on a website when the person you're talking to can't just take their finger and point at a screen, but I'm pretty damn good at walking people through things step by step. However, these people wouldn't listen.

They kept cutting me off and talking about other shit, or arguing about where they were looking on the website. I wanted to say, "shut the fuck up. This isn't that damn difficult. If you'll follow my directions to a T, you will have this done in a matter of minutes!" But no, I can't say that. I have to just sit there and listen to them fucking argue on the telephone, try to tell them to look at a certain spot on a screen, then listen to them argue some more.

I wish I didn't have to kiss the customer's ass, but our system has a fucking survey at the end of the call. My bonus is based on how satisfied the customer is. If I get anything less than the highest mark, it fucks me right in the ass and I can't get the highest possible bonus. So I have to sit there and kiss someone's ass because I need the fucking money. I swear, if it weren't for needing the money, I'd tell people what I really think while on the phone.

Okay, time to get this thread back on track of ranting and you've prompted it with that comment. You're absolutely correct, we customer service folks do get tired of the idiots. There are many out there. Luckily, only about 25% of the folks I deal with are complete jackasses. Take last night for instance, the first phone call of the night was a couple who wanted to check on, and then modify, the beneficiaries to their accounts. Very simple task, can be done in 5 minutes or less on the web. However, I was on the phone with them for 35 fucking minutes.

Why the fuck so long? Because the fucking morons couldn't follow instructions. They were both on speakerphone (which is a pain in the ass already) and fucking arguing back and forth about what step to take next. If they would have fucking listened, there wouldn't be any problem. I know that it's sometimes difficult to find things on a website when the person you're talking to can't just take their finger and point at a screen, but I'm pretty damn good at walking people through things step by step. However, these people wouldn't listen.

They kept cutting me off and talking about other shit, or arguing about where they were looking on the website. I wanted to say, "shut the fuck up. This isn't that damn difficult. If you'll follow my directions to a T, you will have this done in a matter of minutes!" But no, I can't say that. I have to just sit there and listen to them fucking argue on the telephone, try to tell them to look at a certain spot on a screen, then listen to them argue some more.

I wish I didn't have to kiss the customer's ass, but our system has a fucking survey at the end of the call. My bonus is based on how satisfied the customer is. If I get anything less than the highest mark, it fucks me right in the ass and I can't get the highest possible bonus. So I have to sit there and kiss someone's ass because I need the fucking money. I swear, if it weren't for needing the money, I'd tell people what I really think while on the phone.

I would like to clarify that I was not referring to customer service reps, I was referring to the art of customer service itself.

In my line of work I deal with many different companies and typically there is one single person that I have to deal with on a regular basis. I firmly believe in building lasting relationships with a specific person at a particular company because I know that they will get the job done and take care of me.

I have no issue with the poor customer service reps you get on the phone, as a matter of fact, unless you are rude or ugly to me, I am the nicest person on the planet. But if you get rude or ugly, its like flipping a switch, and I am THAT WOMAN that will call back and speak with a supervisor and I will have your job if you so deserve that course of action. I am not a mean person, but when you have a job and it calls for a specific demeanor, etc, like Capt said, even if I am an idiot, its still your job to be polite and helpful, UNLESS i get rude or ugly first. Then game on, but it should always be the customer service persons call when they get an unreasonable person on the phone to state that they need to call back when they can be reasonable and polite. If you dont work for a company that gives you that, then you dont want to work there.

My rant was referring to a company that is the ONLY one that supplies the parts that I need for a fountain in my park area, and unfortunately up until yesterday I was completely fed up with them. The ONE GUY who handles all the parts orders has been ignoring me for MONTHS. I have called repeatedly and left messages, both voicemail and verbal written messages with the receptionist and he has been either too lazy or too incompetent to return my calls. I finally got hold of him a few weeks ago, and we had a detailed conversation that entailed us both taking specific actions uon hanging up the phone. I followed mine to a Tee. He however did not do ANYTHING. When I got him on the phone after several emails and voicemails in the following weeks he tried to tell me that we didnt discuss anything and that he wasnt supposed to be doing anything. All in a very rude manner with attitude...WRONG APPROACH to take with me...and I ripped him a new one...then called back, got a partner of the company on the phone, ripped him a new one after apologizing for being upset because it wasnt his fault, he was very kind and took the appropriate action to ensure I become a happy customer, and what took the IDIOT weeks to do, this gentleman did in a matter of a few hours and reassured me that in the future I can contact him directly for all my needs. So, I am appeased...but this situation is a tad different from dealing with just some random customer service rep....

FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK... Fucking finance fucked up my pay... Ok... So to start from the beginning...

I used my Government Travel Card (GTC) to purchase my ticket to Korea... When I got here I filed my Travel Voucher. One thing that's required when you file a travel voucher is split-dispursement. Meaning they pay off the GTC first and if there is any remaining the rest goes in to my checking account. Well about 2 weeks after I got here I got Over paid. I stopped into Finance to make sure that I wasn't going to incurr a debt because of an error on their end. They assured me that my card was paid off and the remainder was for Per Diem from my PCS... So I used the money to make extra payments on my bills.

Fast forward to today... 2 months later... And I get an e-mail from our GTC rep saying my card is now 30 days overdue and I owe 1150... So I call finance... Apparently they didn't pay off my card and the entire amount of my travel voucher went into my checking account... (and it's what I used to pay extra on my card) so I owe 1150 on my card... And what's better is they won't do payments... Only a min payment which now that it's past due 30 days is 1150... FUCK FUCK FUCK... Been nice to know this last week before I spent a bunch of money on my shit for my bike...

I fucking hate the military pay system... They always fuckup our shit and take forever to pay out... But if you owe money they're fuck'n Nazi's about it...

Some fucktard in the UK "bought it now" for a grand. Yeah, right. I know exactly what will happen. He'll say, I'll send you a check for 3 grand. You ship the truck to me and mail me a refund. I dislike busybodies. I greatly dislike people who have nothing better to do with their lives than harass other people.

The issue: Today is Police and Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. A day to honor and remember all our officers, past present, standing and fallen. A good solid day that requires nothing more than taking a moment to reflect and to put your flags at half mast if you have one (which most people dont even bother to lower at all).

This is a fairly new holiday to my understanding and at least it has some relevance, unlike several others...and has been added to the federally recognized list...

My beef?

We have a flag Nazi that has nothing better to do than harass and harangue my office if we fail to meet HIS time standards in regards to OUR flag. We proudly fly the 2nd largest flag on the tallest flagpole in the state of Florida. We honor each holiday we feel fit (the fed approved and reasonable ones as well as offer special ceremonies for big ones like Labor Day, 9/11, Memorial Day, etc) with the appropriate flag standing. This asshole however feels the need to call 2 HOURS before my office is even open to leave nasty messages, as well as stop in the office and BITCH at us the MOMENT we walk in the door about getting the flag lowered. I swear by everything I hold holy, if that ass walks in my door one more time i will have a warrant issued against him, and have him arrested for trespassing due to his harassment. It's one thing to give us a friendly reminder making sure we havent forgotten, its completely different to literally rant and rave in MY OFFICE about it. The next time I see him...

We fought tooth and nail with the city and locals (yes truly we had to do so)for our damn flag and flagpole, we are fully aware of protocol which we meet to the best of our abilities at all times, but people who have nothing better to do than wait to POUNCE on us the moment they think theyve caught us in the wrong really PISSES ME OFF. We didnt forget, we werent even here yet. Hadnt even sat down at our desks!!

And to top it off, i just got a call from a tenant of mine down the shopping center that some other asshole came in and bitched HER out because he didnt feel it was appropriate for us to be flying the flag at half mast and it wasnt a valid reason and we dont have THE RIGHTS to do it...

My rant. The guy who had the bike before me obviously wasn't overly intelligent about it when he installed a new rear sprocket on the bike. The tire wasn't completely straight after he put it all back together so the chain adjustment bolt hole on the right side was stripped out. So after my neighbor and I retapped it with a 10mm bolt, we got the tire back in straight and the chain started to bike a little bit. Ends up that he bent the pretty new vortex sprocket, which fucked up the chain also. So today I had to order a 220 dollar regina chain/sprocket kit, and mostly can't go riding tomorrow with a couple of friends.

He wanted a certain color, so the stealership found it in Nashville Tn (5 hrs away). he applied for a loan and was approved, then put $1000 down. They are going to have it here on friday. I have dealt with this dealer before, very pushy, very buy a big (expensive) bike to grow into... Also I have a 95 RF600, I told him I would teach him on it. He just wants the Busa... This kid comes from a poor family, so this bike is the first new ride anyone in his family has had. He gets real defensive when I bring up the idea of a old used bike

UPDATE!!! After talking to this guy we convinced him into buying a smaller cheaper bike.. I went to the stealership with him and we talked to the sales manager... The kid got a gsxf 500, out the door 5500. he got his 1000 deposit back, so he can buy some gear and other shit he wants... I rode it back to his dorm for him.. Glad I was able to make him see the light.....

I mean really, who DOES that?)..... since it took you some 4.5 minutes just to write in the amount, by now your husband returned (I dare say had he even THOUGHT about adding more items to your tab, I would have shoved a very pointed toe up his ass), and you debated whether to continue writing the check, or putting it on the credit card... by now, the line has grown to about 12, and the natives are getting restless..... Finally, you're done. And while I want to scream out "YOU FUCKING INCONSIDERATE CUNT!" I manage to tone it down to a (quite audible) "HOW inconsiderate...." as you walked away (which, of course, you failed to even recognize was in reference to you).

I would like to state how much i HATE credit card companies.

I call in to ask about interest rates and such, I am interested in lowering my rates since apparently they increased and the cc companies arent required to notify you they have done so, all part of the fine print. I speak to a representative, he says hold on, lemme see what I can do, comes back says, here it is, I can lower your rate to X if you like, and we also have a nifty thing you can check out that you might be interested in, lemme transfer you. I get stuck on the phone for well over an hour, talking to an idiot, whos program does jack shit for me and I am uninterested in, but they wont let me get off the phone till they transfer me back to the original company. They transfer me, send me to the wrong department, finally get where I need to be, and the lady tells me, okay, based on blah, we have sucessfully suspended your account and it will take 30-40 days for it to update on the credit reports. WHAT THE FUCK???!!!

I ask her why the hell they would do that, she says, well, you wanted a lower interest rate and in order to do so and to help you pay off your debt we have frozen your account till you pay it off. EXCUSE ME??!!! COME AGAIN??!! Basically, the asshole I first talked to decided I needed some additional assistance and decided to take over my account, freeze it so I can pay it off without worrying about using it, a card I DONT EVEN USE anymore as based on my statements and didnt even bother to tell me this.

All because I asked what it would take to get a lower interest rate!!!

Its my emergency card, I dont use it really, but its there if I need it, and you know, sometimes ya need that security, it does have a higher balance than everything else I have, i came out of the divorce with it, but I pay all my bills, on time and more than minimum so for them to just arbitrarily freeze my shit because they feel like it and not notify or disclose this really pisses me off...i think I will be talking to the BBB on this one, b/c I am pretty sure that what they did is in no way shape or form standard procedure or even legal. I didnt know the terms, I didnt sign anything and to bind me to something without disclosing the full terms cannot be legal.

Usually the tards that still write checks are the same tards that refer to the computer monitor as the "modem" and hate anything automated or electronic. Ok... First... let me say I could give a fuck if I get awards... I specifically ask NOT to be put in for awards because any more it doesn't really matter what you do durring duty hours... it's what's done after duty hours that counts... and though I can understand that to a point... it's gotten to the point that no matter WHAT you do, if you don't go to school after work, you will not win... if your even submitted.

Second, I don't need the ego blow job... I don't need an award so everyone will kiss my ass... I do my job... I do it well... people specifically by pass other members of my shop just to deal with me because I am good at my job. Rarely is there a trouble ticket accomplished here that I don't take part in, wether it be me accomplishing it start to finish, me taking over for someone screwing up, or just giving advice to the person working it. I'm motivated by me just wanting to be good at what I do.

now on to my ACTUAL Rant.

My co worker won NCO of the quarter last quarter... Awesome... she's an outstanding NCO... not the greatest Systems person... but a quality NCO... she goes to school, is very involved in the squadron, and is the base 5/6 club (club for E-5 and E-6's, that's rank for you civilians) and helps out the community. I was happy for her.

She just won PACAF (Pacific Air Forces Command) Medical Information Systems NCO (non commissioned officer ie E-5 and E6) of the Year. WHAT THE FUCK... this chick litteraly was on the phone with me asking me how to add a computer to the domain the exact moment I got the e-mail saying she won. Adding a computer to the domain is something we do FUCKING DAILY. and she had NO IDEA how to fucking do it. She is the ABSOLUTE WORST Systems tech. I've ever worked with. I seriously took over ALL her work orders because she didn't know how to do them... so now, her ENTIRE JOB is to do inventory... which normally is an additional duty but she makes it her 7-5.

I'm so fuck'n frustrated because it's shit like this that just blows my mind... and above that... I just saw the package that she won with... EVERY... I SHIT YOU NOT... EVERY DUTY BULLET was copied OFF MY EPR (Enlisted Performance Report... Annual report card basicly) fuck they even fucked up and didn't change HE to SHE on a couple of them!

My OIC (officer in charge) had the gull to come up to me after and say "Your next" I simply replied "fuck that... I'll go get arrested to make sure I don't"

god damn it... I can't fuck'n stand people taking advantage of shit I do. I make sure I give credit where it's due... I have an Airmen who if it wasn't for his attitude, probably would be one of the top Airmen in the Air Force... dude is shit hot... but has an attitude that just doesn't fit the Air Force.

Like I said... it's one thing for her to be named NCO of the quarter for the Medical Group.... because that encorporates what she does in and out of work... and she is... a very well rounded NCO...

but she is THE FUCKING WORST Medical Informations Systems Tech I've ever met... and worst of all... she doesn't care... doesn't TRY to learn anything... just tasks my airmen with the shit she doesn't know. or passes them off on me saying they asked for me.
