:willy:
I can hear thunder in the distance and see dark clouds overhead. For some odd reason the motorcyclists are driving past my house faster than normal
I hope they make it home as it's suposed to be nasty :willy:
{edit} I'm going to eat a nice hot dinner while we still have electric

Pork roll sammies and mac & cheese. We went for a quick lite meal.
So we got torrential downpour followed by hail :willy:

Neither of those two pictures show hail....
THIS is hail...and these are only the fragments....they were blowing to pieces as they fell out of the wall cloud passing over my house...they must have been the size of grapefruits before impact. :O

Peas or Grapefruit, either way, hail sucks.
I have dents on my car from last weeks storm. I stood there in my third floor apartment, leaning on my crutch watching everyone else move their cars under cover while my poor Scion just sat there getting hit :( It was sad.

People in Texas go apeshit when it hails. LOL
I've ridden in hail/motha stingin rain and hopefully never have to do that again. Rain is fine but not hail. It hurt and I felt violated.
I cant wait till rain hits here, if it ever will.

I know we had small hail but it's very uncommon to get hail here. The local news just showed hail that was golfball size from the storm. They also showed some homes that were destroyed by possible tornadoes.

It came through this area as well...but it was just rain.
But Ill take it it will wash the roads away off the left over salt and sand.

Just rain here too...sucks, cuz I was gonna grill ribs today...
People back home ask me if I'm crazy for moving up north where snow is often measured in feet...I just ask them if they're nuts for still living where their house can blow away with no warning. At least we can prepare for snow... I do NOT miss tornadoes, and I've been in a few...let it snow, baby...

Dang! I read that line
Dark clouds, thunder & bikes flying past my house
and I immediately think that the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse have traded in their old mares for a bunch of chopped Harleys. Sorta fits, ya know?

Thats awesome!
We had beautiful weather, but coming through Alabama we saw the after effects of our flood rains. Several of the rivers were overflowing their banks, and even saw an entire area flooded. To give you an idea, there was a dumptruck sitting next to some homes/businesses. The water was almost at the window of the dump truck! :panic:

I've ridden through hail on the 1098 before. In my head I was chanting "ohh God don't die don't die don't die.."... it was dark and my ex-husband and I were still about 2 or 3 miles from home. :panic: That was just last year, too.
