It's been blocked from all of PACAF since I've been a member. Surprised it took Keesler this long.

No, If getting it to work didn't mean I'd have to carry around a keyboard for it to be useful, I might try.

Weren't there small keyboards about the size of a cell phone out there? I think there is one for the PS3. My full size PS3 keyboard works on my computer.:idk: It may be worth a shot. Otherwise, there have been foldable keyboards for phones forever. Nextel/Motorola had one back in the 90s.

TXARNG has a proxy server of their own.. if I turn off the proxy server, then the NGB server's websense kicks in and nothing works.. but as long as I'm using the Texas server, I'm golden.

Yeah, I saw that shit on the news last night. Made me think of you because they were showing a bunch of ARNG Soldiers making sandbags. :panic:
I don't envy you that... we had to do it here in TX in 2007 when we had all that rain and flooding out in Marble Falls. I was preggo back then, so I didn't get to go rescue anyone (mainly our guys who didn't understand that driving a 5-ton into moving water was a BAD idea  ).

Yeah, I'm running a HEMTT LHS, so no worries. That fucker will go through damn near anything. :D But we're grounded for the day... poor road conditions, and the dumbass MP's keep putting the HMMWV's in the ditch...

Consider yourself lucky you're NOT the Master Driver, trust me. Especially in the Guard/Reserves... so much shit gets done under the table with licenses, you really don't want to be responsible if they do a COMET inspection. How many times has your unit done "driver training" to license people on HMWWV's, 5-tons or LMTV's in one day? I'm sure they do it a lot... per regulation, driver training for HMWWV's is supposed to be 5 days. I forget what it is for the others off the top of my head.. I'd have to go look. I know for a fact the 348-E's in the SAMS-E box at the unit where I'm deploying are all jacked up.. missing training in the remarks section, etc.
I'm a trained Master Driver... but they haven't officially appointed me yet, even though I'm the only one in the unit. I'm not exactly in any hurry to point that out to anyone. :panic:

We have 3 MD's in my unit alone.
As fars as the 348's, well... there are none current right now. ND just switched to SAMS and only the shops have them. The individual unit does not have the capability at this time to go in and generate the license, or even do a scrub from ULES to SAMS.

Yeah, but I bet you anything your on base housing is a million times better than ours.
And as sure as I'm typing this post, the fucking recruiter never told me the difference. I WAS going to go AF.. hell, I seriously considered doing the AF Academy when I was a Junior in HS... but I wasn't up for going active duty. My recruiter sold me on the delusion that is the Army Reserve sales pitch.
After this deployment... I might just jump ship. I hear flyers get a pretty decent bonus. :D

and our asvab scores don't work that way... we get 4 scores... one in 4 different areas... General, Mechanical, Admin, and Electronic. we don't get a combined single score.

Only one higher in my company is our 1st shirt.

Ditto... I missed being distinguished honor grad for both of my "official" MOS's by .4 points. Well, phase 1 of 88N I missed it... Phase 2 (TC-AIMS) I rocked that class. No one was even close. Still.. not being top in all my classes pissed me off.
The only other person I have personally known with a higher ASVAB/AFQT score than me is Tracy's best friend in the AF... he has a 99 percentile. Dude is smart as a whip... too bad he's an ass. :D

Sorry, that's probably my fault from back in '00 when I was in QA out at Hill. I had such a slow job that I would surf forums nearly all day long until someone found out and got shitty about it. Luckily, I was about to leave so it didn't really matter. It must just now be filtering down to the rest of the AF due to all the red tape involved in changing anything.

I got a 99. Twice. The third time was a 97- too many head injuries, I guess. ;)

Yeah, after head injuries and having kids.. I'm sure my percentile dropped a few points.
That and being in the Guard for the last 2 years.
