I've drawn a design out i like, and im thinking about going and getting this done real soon. I know a lot of you guys have more experience w/ body art, so i'm thinking i'd post up for any suggestions and price estimations...

yo, ya i should have specified. i Think i overpaid a bit on my first tat is the reason im weary... first time, little knowledge, just kind went in and said hey i want this... and they said okay its this much.

I completely agree, something permanent should be something well invested.

Ask people about their tattoos... Look closely... Then go visit shops... Look for cleanliness first... ask to see their autoclave (touch it to see if it's warm... ie. they use it)... then look for quality... Be leary of portfolios... Tattoos don't start looking like shit (usually) until after they heal... Most portfolios contain only fresh tattoo pictures...

I plan on hittin up the place i went to first. its been around for a long time and i like the work they've already done on me... like i said only qualm was that i thought they charged a little more than others, but in retrospect the people whom i've heard that from have some of the lamest unoriginal stuff done.

yea.

just liked the idea. kind of took it from something else i saw. I've got an ankh, a symbol for life. but i drew it out as a reminder that we dont live forever, kind of like a "no regrets" type thing.


But i never really got that idea across with it and always wanted to compliment it somehow. i thought having a symbol for death posterior to it on my upper ribs would be great.

i've got an idea for some wordage to go along with it to, but dont know if i'll get that at the same time.

I found a guy i like, at a good shop. i think im going to have the deed done on wednesday. i'll post pics after the job is done and i can take the bandage off.

I just realized after seing the pic up there i uploaded the wrong one, thats actually not from when i finished it... this is

only slightly dif... it makes more sense when you see the two dif types of wings.
