Well... Comonboys and I have a new addition to the family.

A 6 month old black lab! :rockwoot:

Purebred and (soon to be) registered, and just brought her home today.

her and her mom and dad. (dad is yellow, mom is on the bale)

Her dad, he's really thick. You could set a plate on his front shoulders!

Her mom, not so petite either.

Me and her after a little walk tonight.

Yeah I rented it Friday night. My wife was mad b/c I didn't buy it.

After the movie I told her I was glad I didn't buy it b/c I'm NEVER watching that movie again...it was the saddest movie I've ever seen. More so b/c my dog looks all but identical to Marley.

My yellow Lab was exactly like Marley. Labs make great family pets and like GM said, they are very loyal and kid friendly.

My parents have a yellow lab that I miss more than then while I'm at school. Great dog and incredibly smart. She learned faster than my dad did while training her for waterfowling.

Here is the most recent picture. Doesn't really show how thick she is though.

I love labs...

As messy as my house always is with the summer fur fling, I am so happy to have my Harris dawgs. I can't imagine having a better dog. He's a lab mix but people always ask if he is pure due to his size. He's a wonderful dog.

it's a cutie for sure redrider. I love 'em when they are that little, but they don't stay that way for long!

At 9 months now, Jozie is getting very good at retrieving, and we are starting to work on the more intricate things, like blind retrieves with me giving direction.

Naw, she gets dog food.
I don't have the freezer room for raw food for the dog.
And with me leaving soon, it's easier for the gf with regular dog food.

My husband had him at an enduro race he was riding in. He just leashed him in the back of the truck since the weather was nice. Harris wasn't too fond of all the noise of the bikes going by. Another rider took his picture, hence the moniker. He's a really nice dog, but I think that's the rottie in him. Protective of his family and his home. He's really a big sook, but puts on a good show. He can spot a dirty old perv from a mile away... He acts big and tuff when he needs to.

My pup swam about 2.5 miles yesterday. He's freaking tired. Doesn't wanna do anything. He'll lay around until about Wednesday.

I need to get some more recent pics uploaded but here he is (again...)

2.5 miles straight? what, you just have him swim down the river or something? That's pretty impressive, and I don't blame him for not doing shit for awhile.

Yeah...we were floating down the river. Pine Creek in the PA Grand Canyon. He was fucking tired. Still is. Poor little guy was paddling his ass off.

She did pretty well for her first time in the field, had a couple good retrieves, after watching the other dogs do it to figure it out.
