Hypothetical nonsense time twf; You're given 24 hours to live and allowed any ROAD BIKE of your choosing and transportation to ANY PUBLIC ROAD on earth to spend the rest of your time enjoying.

What bike? What road? Pics and/or video of both encouraged.

note; Yes I'm a complete internet fanboy. I've never been on an aprilia so I have no idea for sure how I'd like it and I've never been to Italy or Switzerland. But the internet hath told me both are good and I believe them. :idk:

I think I'd have to start in Italy, head up through the Alps on your road above... up into Germany and finish the day... and my life... on the Ring

Chromed and stretched out turbo Busa with NOS... on an open highway someplace extremely flat... I'd get that bitch up to 210mph... and then crash into a car full of naked teenage girls.

I'd get the Y2K bike and tell them how fast that bike can truely go.

Somewhere really really really long and flat and down a hill. I'd run it until I crashed and go out in an explosion due to me packing a lot of C4 on it just for the cool factor. I'd also have highspeed cameras and tank cameras mounted to catch all the action and carnage so my friends can post it on youtube.

i'd involve alot more than that... those things probably don't have enough voltage to run lights... they probably run all the electronics off battery power to keep from robing hp from the motor

i was thinking about this one earlier today and as much as i lust over the tesi's forkless de-dion suspension so do i equally lust for the throbbing scream of a big tripple. with that in mind i make it a tossup between the tesi and the benelli tornado tre

If GP bikes are out...I'd like to take that ride on the Beemer HP2 Sport or a Duc 999, possibly a Benelli Cafe Racer.

Most bikes look a million times better than a bking in my mind. I saw one in person not long ago and thought it was hideous.

If it was any bike, I would want the bike below.

Where I would take it shouldn't even be a guess to ya'll. I can't imagine terrorizing that road on a moto gp 250.... It would just not be fair.

If it had to be a street legal bike, it would be a fully upgraded HRC version of my bike with all the ohlins/brembo/etc nicities.

I've always been curious- what's your personal best time through the gap? It's cool if it's an estimate.
What's the best time you've heard of someone doing it in (that you believed)?
How much would you guess you could take off your time with a 250?

Don't know what my best is, normal run through traffic is around 11-12's, I guess. I haven't timed myself in a long time.

I don't know how much I would really takeoff with a gp 250, I just think it would be badassly fun to have something that light and fast to ride through a tight road like the gap.
