I love the side mount.... and the sound is much better. Most likely because it is right next to the engine. Wind noise is better tho.... :rockwoot:

I took everyone's advice to heart and tried a few things. I covered the mics with electrical tape and put a couple pieces of the soft side of velcro in the case. I also bought a high speed sd card which has seemed to help as well.
