Same here. If you hang on to the end of the clip, there's a contest on for a trip to Space Camp in Huntsville, AL. I can't enter, because it's a "residents only" thing :(

"Shaun of the Dead" and "Hot Fuzz", among others. If you don't know those two, then you're really missing something.

I see movies like those because I'm not slavishly tied to television, nor Hollywood. Add "Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" to your must-see list, though he isn't in that.

(Though Jason Statham is)

I've seen shaun of the dead a number of times on television. It's not a cult or indie film by any means. It got a lot of air time in the states as it deserves. It's freakin hilarious. Hot Fuzz got a lot of ad time because of it.

Saw them both in theatres, then popped for the DVD. Then again I've got all the seasons of Python on DVD too.

lol.........well IMO the only reason *most* guys don't comment about fashion is only because they're afraid people would think they're gay. Deep inside they'd like to comment, but they're too pussy to.

Well since it starts before even the first series (it's a prequel), you don't have to know anything about it. There's just going to be an extra layer of stuff for the Trek faithful :D

You're comparing stuff that was 10 years apart. To me, the stories told in Star Trek were far better than the thinly veiled Western that was Star Wars, whether or not the effects were better. They had writers like Harlan Ellison writing for them ("City on the Edge of Forever").

And remember, they had to invent a whole new type of effects, in fact created an entire effects STUDIO (ILM) in order to produce those movies.

If you watch carefully, there are a few of those "Easter Eggs" in both movies ;)

"What's wrong commander?"

"It talked to me. I wasn't even plugged in, and it talked to me. Like it was saying goodbye."

My geek penis is bigger and harder than all of yours combined.

And as for Lexx, the B flicks that spawned it (I Worship His Shadow and the like) were actually decent.

I can't wait for new Star Trek, it's going to be a lot of fun.
