A crappy pic i took with my cell, but i broke the 4th bone on the left in my hand. Which sucks because i cant do shit with my left hand

crappy pic but looks like a midshaft fracture. Good that its not involving the joint and doesnt look displaced. did the put you in a cast or a splint?

Its a splint, but they put me in the splint before they realized it was a fracture. I left the ER being told it was a contusion, then got a call the next morning and they told me they looked at the xrays again and it was a fracture.

I just came back from a specialist wgo put me in a 3/4 arm cast. I told him about the plans to ride down to the rally, and he gave me 2 apts, one next thursday, and one on the day we are supposed to leave. with any luck i will have the cast off on may 6. if it dont come off i may end up driving down

lol, I didn't have any pierced skin, but I knew it was in a bunch of pieces. When I broke my right collar bone, I didn't figure it until hrs later when I watched it flex in the middle.

Mine's been lifted out of place at the sternum for almost two years. Causes the shoulder to ache. And it sounds like rice crispies.

Wish it would have broke instead.

Mine too. It's overlapped by about 3/4 of an inch. My left arm is a little shorter. After I dragged myself out of the bushes I realized it was my collarbone that was poking me in the neck...:lol:

Well they drilled a hole in my leg right there in the ER with a Dewalt drill. I guess that isn't your job? All the guys there were having an absolute blast with that. :lol: I had a visit from everyone in the hospital coming to take a look at the frankenstein contraption they put on my leg. :lol:

I dont think so? we have a very good ortho service so they come down for all that stuff. In other hospitals if there isnt an ortho guy on site the ER guys may attatch external fixators.

Funny thing is if you scrub in for an ortho procedure it sounds like theyre building a house with all the tools going LOL
