I plan to order a set of t-rex stands to avoid having to use my buddies.

I have a set of T-rex's

And a set of Pit Bulls

I like them both. The pit bull rear stand is more sturdy, but i'm not disappointed with the Trex either.
Reason I got the Pit Bulls is cause they made one specifically for the 1125R without spools, and I wanted a matching set, so I got the front too.

I use the T-rex's for the SV now. they both work well, and I would recomend them to anyone. Can't beat 'em for the money.

How do you get to the front axle with the non triple tree stand?

You don't. Hence the reason I bought a triple tree stand when I got the Pit Bulls. And pins for both bikes. :D

Like Cutty said, you don't.

However, my T-Rex front stand is convertible. I use the fork lift for most uses like putting on tire warmers and throw the upper piece on for wheel swaps or fork work.

T-Rex are good stands for the money but the bolt-together design will wear out over time.

As they said... you don't unless you roll like this

Thanks for the visual.

Now lets see a pic of that stand lifting from the fork bottoms.

Lets also see a pic of the receipt where you spent more money for one stand than a whole set of T-Rex's.

Pit Bulls are without a doubt the best stand available. This thread isn't about Pit Bull stands. :welcome:

Different tool for a different job. I had a old POS set of LP stands that went under the fork bottom. They sucked!

Hey, they are pricey but you said it... best out. Just making sure the guy makes an informed decision on his purchase.

Hell you can also run a mc jack
