Probably for most riders, but it's a heat problem, so it'll depend mostly on how hot you get both tires. He obviously roasted the front tire during the race.

At least it's in the middle/meat of the tire. If it were about 2/3 out he wouldn't be able to trailbrake into right turns or if it were on the edge his cornering would be effed.

Um, motorcycle tires don't bubble when they get over heated. They turn blue and get hard and greasy. Besides, the part of the tire that's chunked is not where you traditionally build up a lot of heat. I think what you're calling "bubbles" are actually little bits of discarded rubber from the tires called "marbles".

Are you blind, those aren't marbles there's chunks of rubber missing!
Tires bubble then they are overheated and start to out gas causing the rubber to delaminate from the casing. This is a common problem with racing tires that are severely overheated.
