Nah, here's what I think happened. I put the chicken in a "microwavable" bowl with water for 20 min (chicken was frozen btw) and was watching TV. I heard some "crackling" and got up to see what's what. My guess is that my bowl sprung a leak, letting all of the water out which caused the chicken to be "fried" rather than boiled. Apparently, Glad wasn't thinking that frying was going to be an option when they designed their bowls.... Ah the life of a bachelor....

Dude, you can thaw chicken in like 5 minutes if you put it in a bowl and run hot water over it slowly so it continuously overflows and keeps the water hot...massaging your chicken under hot water thaws it even quicker.:lickout: :lol

Hey, I live in the era that if my wife sits at home all day or only works part time, that I expect ALL of the household type chores to be taken care of including meals. Maybe I'll be single for the rest of my life but trust me when I say that no woman will ever sit on her ass all day while I'm at work and expect me to come home and do house work of any kind...period. Single with kids:
clean house- I do most, the kids clean their rooms, pick up the living room and wash dishes
clean clothes - I wash and dry them, put mine up and hope to god the kids do theirs. Then I have to look for my clothes only to realize Mini-Me has stolen mine....again!
hot meals - Sometimes I cook, sometimes Mini-Me does. She's getting good. :dthumb:
back rubs - What's that?
sex - Again, what's that?
companionship - Kids can be cool as companions. Although their constant fighting with each other gets old. When I get tired of them, I send them to their rooms.
extra income - Only when I work two jobs.

But ya know what? I'd rather be single than deal with another fucking human around all the time, trying to boss me around or telling me what I can or can't do. FUCK THAT!!!!

-clean house- I'm just good like that
-clean clothes - he does his, I do mine and the little one's, oldest might do his if I let his ass go out in dirty clothes, and then he'll forget about them until I bitch about the washer being full.
-hot meals - unless someone pisses me off, then it's every man for himself!
-back rubs - for about a minute
-sex - yep
-companionship - when we're not both sitting in a computer
-extra income - he makes enough, but I work too so we live comfortably for the most part. We could feasibly live off his income, but not mine. I don't see child support, so nothing extra to help out there. :idk:

Back on topic: I NEVER had luck with microwaves, and the food does NOT taste the same...I'll stick to doing food the old fashioned way, thankyouverymuch. :D

Careful guys, you can't knock being married or KSgregman will tell you to get divorced, then wait in your bushes under your window for you to leave your spouse alone.

As for us, we really do have several of the married couple requirements Tigger wants, just not like he thinks.
Clean house - Ulu does this. It's a blessing and a curse though, because while everything is clean, you can never find anything. She moves your shit around and suddenly you don't own any shoes or keys.
Clean clothes - I am the laundry God. I seperate by colors, wash on the right cycle and temperature, I pre-treat stains and I can get blood out of a baby blue dress shirt while keeping the color safe. Ulu doesn't check pockets, puts everything in until the lid barely closes, puts it on cold if she remembers, and presses on. I let her do laundry sometimes, but not my nice clothes.
Hoy Meals - Ulu is great at this. She gets a little experimental at times, but I never cook and we always have food, so I can't complain. And she's a kitchen miracle worker, put her in a kitchen where there's millions of ingredients and every peice of equipment in the world and she'll just sit there and cry. But put her in my dorm room kitchen with nothing in it but eggs, paper plates, beer and some hot pockets, and she'll figure out how to make souffle.
Back rubs - Ulu has no idea how to do this. If we have a female friend who knows how she'll let that chick do it for me as long as she's there, but she can't do it herself. So I rub her back and if I have a hot friend that's capable she sub-contracts it out.
Sex - As long as I initiate, I can have sex whenever I want, and she'll do pretty much anything I want if I'm insistent. If I don't initiate we can go months without.
Companionship - Got that in spades. She's not too clingy, but we're comfortable with each other. It gets better the longer we're together. Except my DVR is full because of all the shows we can only watch together.
Extra income - She only really works to give her something to do, so the money she makes pays for the boy to be in day care, and that's mostly it. Although she has finally started paying for the maintenance on her car, which has made her realize that every two years isn't often enough. We're dropping her ride off today and it's only a thousand overdue for an oil change!
