True...I had to go back and look after I read this...they would be coming off...at least before it hit the street.

Nice.
Even if I had the money it's not something I'd put in my garage.

I like it. It may be a bit too much on the flashy side, but fuck it- it's a Ferrari. ;)

Fins would stay, they spent a lot more money in windtunnel time than I can afford.
And as that looks like a race car, the thing in the back is probably a kill switch.

Thats what they said about Chryslers winged cars, and if you had one of those and hacked the wing off, I'd guess when you think about it you'd like to shoot yourself for doing something so stupid.

Looks like someone tried to turn a Ferrari into a riced out Tiburon. Lame.

Well, the first mistake is judging it by street car standards. :idk:
That's a track car, and it is decked out as such.
I wouldn't want it looking like that if I were driving it anywhere else.

True, but in terms of pure visuals, the Modena race models look cleaner and less ricey. This one looks like a visual mess. It may all be functional, and bravo for it, but it looks like a 16 year old's wet dream of fins, slats, and holes. Might as well throw a Type-R sticker on it.

you are still judging it against the wrong cars. Look at the fxx and f50gt

I'm making a judgment on the visual appeal of the car based on the picture on screen. I understand that it's a purpose built car that won't see the street, and that the venting, scoops, wing, and spoilers all have a purpose. It still looks like butt, regardless of what car it's compared to.

ever seen warren mosler's early work? consulier gtp and the raptor? aerodynamic is its own pretty.

like i said before, im very surprised ferrari built this car considering past "super" versions have always been on their top level halo cars, from the 288 GTO on.

You mean the type of beauty that is best viewed in the color-printed graphs of wind tunnel data?

As opposed to the type that shows up in video Stig crashing the Koenigsegg (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=feJsXOGQFPo)

Oh, The Stig told Koenigsegg it needed a wing in back, after he crashed it. Well they fixed the car, put a wing on it and sent it back so he could try it again, and he set the boards fastest lap with it.....

The wheels are too close to the fenders and the body work is "busy".

From the side view I agree. I like it from the front or back.

Agreed (what's w/ the silly +one emoticon?) on Greg's comments - it's a track car, function > form.

I dig it, but would take prefer one of Ferrari's mid-engine supercars for track use.

Being realistic, it's pretty irrelevant since I doubt I'll ever be able to afford one.

Well I hope you're bigger than what it appears in your pics and have some skills or you may end up having a bad day. :idk:

The car isn't legal for the street anyways but IF it was those would be coming off as I stated.

Half the rear tire isn't even on the ground.

Not sure I understand the performance advantage of this much camber? Maybe helps traction and squat under heavy side-loading?
