A thread on SBN got me thinking.
Do you have one? Know anybody who has one?
I've never even seen one on the road.

I had my butt handed to me by a 300lb 50+ yr old guy riding one a few weeks ago....and he hadn't had the suspension reworked for his weight yet :panic:
I can make excuses all day long about how the sun was in my eyes...there was gravel....it's public roads.....but DUDE...this guy just flat spanked my butt!!!...he had SHINKO tires too
I was on the R1 on FAIRLY familiar roads (tuggles gap...which is a mini-deals gap where there aren't any really LONG sweaper, just several 100 ft of elevation change and tight corners back to back) but not so comfortible I'd want to ramp it up past 75% to hang with him...thats just never wise on public roads...umm YEAH...that sounds like a good excuse...
What was the killer was...and this was a BIG guy (5'-10" +/- and maybe a 50" waist)....he didn't lean, throw a knee out, or nothin....just pinned it and WENT.
We were in a group and he had been in about the 4th spot all day...and we were coming BACK thru tuggles for a last pass when 3 of us took off.....we were doing quite well and had a decent clip going...when he blasted past us scaring me to DEATH with those two brothers pipes  so I gave chase....thinking theres no way this dude's gonna shake me
Hugh Jazz B-King (naked busa..which I've owned and hated trying to turn that pig)

it's a B-king
Good lord was I surprised :idk:
I was hanging OK, but he was just faster...and kept creaping away
I was amazed
Bike didn't look so big with him on it....but looking down at it from the saddle reminded me of riding a Boss Hoss

I hate to say it but I've always liked the damn thing (except it's so friggin HUGE!)... With aftermarket exhaust, they're pretty sweet lookin, IMO.
Don't know anyone who has one, but saw a really fucked up one at teh dealership this morning when I dropped my bike off. It'd been down pretty badly on the right side, but the short, fat, dual Scorpion exhaust it had was nice lookin!

Too bad it's a big heavy bike. I couldn't pick that fucker up off the kickstand. :(

I liked the B-King when it was still a concept. It changed before it went into production and just doesn't look as good.

Not hardly. You're highly exaggerating and give me waaaaay too much credit.
It's my extremely short legs that gives me the most problem with bikes with a higher seat height. :(

I liked the B-King when it was a supercharged Concept. I am a a Busa Owner and Fan so its size doesn't intimidate me. It is however mud ugly in my eyes. To make matters worse the Gen 2 busa and B-Kings require significant changes the valve train in order to sustain any worthwhile amount of boost so force feeding them has gotten a good deal more pricey. (so much for the original Boost King title)
There are 2 in dealerships local to me that have birthdays and they are anxious to DEAL on.
If you don't mind the look (one sales guy called "The Transformer Bike") They ride very nicely and have a generally U-Jap meets Cruiser riding position with great brake and good handling for a machine of its size. (Well that was my impression after an hour on one)

Sport Rider did an article about one where they turbo'd it (6 lb boost) and did a few other mods, custom exhaust, streach, etc. Said it rode very well.

Serious? I sat on one in a dealership and thought it was huge.

Thats b/c they screwed it up from the factory. It's way too ugly and takes too much cash and mods to make it look acceptable. They shanked that on their own.

I'm 6' 220 and sat on one at a dealership. It was huge but my legs pressed hard into the air intakes and made it uncomfortable.
If you are about 5'5" and 300lbs then the bike is perfect for you.

Phisig1071, is like 6'4"
Sat on one in a dealership. Didnt like the look of it very much, didnt like how it felt.
But i've never seen one out in the wild, anywhere. Which, as was said above, is probably why its discontinued.

The only ones I've seen were sitting in the show room with the awful stock exhaust cans. YUK !!
Well come to think of it...almost all stock exhaust looks terrible these days.

See two posts above.
The only way I could actually get my leg under the air scoop thingy on the side was to have my foot WAY back on the rearsets, my toes were barely on the peg. I couldn't move my foot forward to shift without taking my foot off the peg and readjusting my leg. Maybe too small isn't the right term, maybe it's just too cramped.
Other than that I was impressed with the bike, it was a fun hooligan to ride.

A buddy of ours that is probably 5'9" and 400lbs sat on one and it's his favorite bike. Of course he needs that over my old SecaII

Yeah, it's a hell of a step up from a Seca II! I like the idea of the bike, a hooligan naked busa, and it's certainly fun to ride. But the execution of the concept is a little flawed IMO. The weird thing is when you're actually on the bike it's nowhere near as "big". Your chinbar blocks almost everything from the dash back so it looks slimmer, and it certainly doesn't ride like it's that fat.
