Uh huh.
And that is not the best one. I used to cut out the really good ones and save them in a word doc. That was on my old computer, so I don't have any more. I might need to start it up again.

It hurts.
I get emails all the time for people that want to work for me - only, they are sent from their phone or something because it's all in l33t. It hurts.

For $100-200 these people could easily get someone to make a resume for them. But no, they'd rather blow that money on beer, cigs, or strip clubs

 I just went through hiring an assistant. I was ASTOUNDED at the resumes and lack of proofreading/grammar/spelling skills. I didn't think it could get any worse until.........the interviews started!
Who in their right mind thinks it is OK to come to an interview for an office position - in which you'll have to greet the public - dressed in sweats covered with cat hair!?!? Her resume read beautifully, but dear god! The cover didn't match the book!!!

Keep these stories coming! Seriously, I thought it was common knowledge to know how to format your resume, run it through a spell check/grammar check and then wear a suit or appropriate attire for the job that you are interviewing for. When i update my resume, it takes me at least a couple of hours, reformatting, rewording, etc.

One of my clients said that she had an applicant come in wearing a baby doll night gown. She apparently made absolutely no apology about it either. :lmao:
I asked if she took a picture....she unfortunately did not.
