I'll be quick to rent it, but sceptical of buying it due to all the censoring they have ben trying to impose on Rockstar Games since GTA San Andreas. I love GTA to death, but the last two for psp we're less than par compared to what they used to put out.

well if the previews are anything to go by.. its gonna be KICK ASS!!! the singleplayer is great by itself but multiplayer looks like its gonna be sweet too... crooks and cops mode, VIP transport... :drool:

i remember i bought a ps2 SOLELY for grand theft auto 3... and it was worth it.
The thing that kept the controller in my hands was another GTA though.
Gran Turismo A-spec... such a great game, as far as racing goes.

The only racing game IMO. I love some grand theft auto, but I have decided that I don't value video games enough to justify paying 500 hundred dollars for a game system so I will not be getting it. I am still working on beating san andreas anyhow as I purchased it realatively recently. I wish the would come out with a massive multiplayer online game like GTA That would be the shit I and I could see myself paying for something good like that.

Call me crazy, but I never liked the GTA games. I would rather play a first person shooter any day than a 3rd person, unrealistic game.

IGN gave it a 10/10. They havent done that since 1999 apparently (thats 9 years), so at the very least it will be worth the 60 bucks...can't wait

It's awesome when he gets shitfaced and stumbles around. Hailing a taxi is even funnier, the things he says at the cab so it'll stop. I often find myself sidetracked from the missions and just roaming around doing stuff. This is the best game series ever invented, fuck Halo. This game is gonna eat up so much of my time, it's not even funny.

anyone else have the PS3 version?? for some reason today my game would not load (it just got stuck at the loading screen) and apparently the fix that I've seen online is to disable internet. WTF. that means I still can't play online. fucking Rock*

I got ps3, it did it to me today.. if you are patient, it will go back to the ps3 home screen, I just loaded it again and it was fine.

patient... I waited for at least 20 minutes I think. eh whatever for now I'm fine with just playing single player but its still annoying to have to turn internet off everytime I want to play.

I got PS3 version... worked fine... though I've only played it once... got it yesterday
it was kinda odd at the start after it loaded the update... then fucking just sat with the comic pics for like 2min. :lol:
game is fuck'n adicting! the fighting is take'n some getting used to.

you arent missing anything, multiplayer isnt that great
game is pretty long. I think I am almost at the end though.

Me neither. I got so many invites from friends, but I like the solo action much better. This is a game, like all the other ones, that you can beat and play all over again many times. You remember the first one? The bird's-eye-view one? Crazy to see what it has become now.

Yeah the first one we had on all our school computers... lol long before they had any sort of network... we installed them and would sit for hours playing in our computer, advance computers, typing, and system prep classes... :lol:

the ragdoll physics are hilarious. I spent an hour just running over people in the park yesterday.
My favorite part is getting shitfaced and hailing cabs. the shit he says is hilarious. "YELLOW CAR!!"

Just beat The Lost and Damned. Great expansion. At first I wasn't sure if I was ready to with another main character. Niko and I hit it off quit well and I thought it would last forever. Sadly things died down and we put our relationship on hold as I was seeing non-GTA main characters and he was off getting drunk with his CUZZZZIN! (inside joke)
Johnny is a nice guy and was really open to my feelings about being with Niko. We went out for some laughs, some crys, and some late night coffee. In the end I believe we are just going to be friends since I believe that would be for the best.
Since I'm still not over Niko, I think I should make another friend. I hear there is a gay guy running through Liberty City that needs some errands done. I think I'm the right kinda guy for that.

Its funny you brought this old game up. I just popped it in a half hour ago. I spent the whole time trying to be the "Liberty City Sniper" and not getting caught. After I got busted a couple times, i was pissed so I cheated a chopper in, went on top of an apartment building and started sniping. When the cops came, they got the snipe. When the swat came, they got gernades. When the choppers came, they got the RPG. There was like 40 dead cops sprawled all over the street, and at least 15 downed hellicopters scatered around. I was at 5 stars forever. Then I fell off by accident. :bash:
So i did it again. Same thing. This time i was RPGing the cops below and accidentally clipped the edge of the building with the RPG. Fucker blew me 20 stories into the are and across the building long ways. I cleared 2 buildings and fell all the way to the street. Firing rockets the whole way down.... :lol:
Can you tell i was bored....

Its a good game, I just can never beat the story mode because I keep getting distracted by causing mayhem. The only GTA game Ive been able to complete was Vice City (also my favorite).
