Okay so Im tired of the EX250 being NOTHING but one big problem.
SO im going to ride the Triumph And put a set of Mikuni VM34 carbs on it
No their not flat slides and yes their old ass hell

But the reasons im using them:
1.I already have one
2.The Kit Sudco sells are VM32's
3.I use one and its easy to tune ^__^

No i just have a Question There are OEM Intake manifolds that i guess are used for conversions. and they are $24.99 Each (and their aluminum so they need a Dammed boot)

And there is Also a Set of VM34 manifolds for an XS650 (they are like a dirtbike intake) http://www.sportingforless.com/Manifold-for-VM34-VM36-mikuni-carburetor-p/c14.htm

Would those fit on the Bonneville?

Thanks guys.
And sorry for all the stupid threads.

The XS650 manifolds might fit, but you need to check the "footprint" and the bolt centers- (the XS centers are 70mm)

I believe that's commonly known in England, as two inches...

Those are a smaller bore, you need a 34mm bore.

A strait connector would work, if your existing manifolds are the same OD as the VM34's. Britcycles.com has some adapter kits that might work for low $$$.

No...The Amal manifolds i have are maybe 28mm:td:
And the ONLY 2" centre - Spigot adapters are $78-108:skep:

But a Trip to Ask & Ironpony might be worth it to see if i can get a Mikuni mounting Flange for like an ATV/Jet Ski

Yes, it truly is. One of two twins I had at my disposal at the time.
They were really great bikes. I also rode a 985cc Triple that was very fast, but didn't get thru turns quite as well. All of them were very sweet rides. I think I have a pic somewhere... let me see.

The guy working on the bike is the Owner and builder. I just had the pleasure stretching the cables for him.
The triple is in the background.
