Every search I do for glossy comes up with glossy frame. Idont care what the frame looks like. LOL
Looking for a glossy screen 21" or bigger for my desktop. A sale would be nice. ;-)

Check out the HP monitors... the only issue I had with them was there was no DVI input...only DVA and HDMI. not a huge deal...
they make a 22 and 24.... and they rotate to landscape if ya want.

wouldn't the glossy monitor reflect more ambient light?

Yes they do, but they also give a better picture than a matte screen.

I would suggest the HP. My husband has that one and I hate it because it is too glossy and everything reflects off of it.

The hard thing is if you cant tell in a pic of the monitor it doesnt say if its matte or has a gloss. Although some companies have their own name for it some dont so its hard to tell cause now its not just a glass type sheet on the monitor. It can be a coating and unless you see the reflection or touch it, its hard to tell.
I'm looking in the high 100's to low 200's range. Needs to have 2ms GTG and 1920x1080 or higher resolution.
I found a few but cant make up my mind.

Shit, I got that one in 24" with HDMI. I've got the PS3 hooked up to it and it looks fucking excellent. Got it at a fucking phenomenal steal through Buy.com during Christmas.

Forgot to post back.
I picked up an LG W2361VG glossy and it is FABULOUS!!!!! The screen just POPS in your face. The only bad is you CAN NOT have the two connections plugged into it at the same time. Even if the other device is not turned on.
Sooo........ I can't have my ps3/360 hooked up through the hdmi port and my pc throught the DVI port. It just wont get signal to which ever one is one. So that kinda sucks having to pull one out and put it back in when need be.

Can you get a switch? I'm pretty sure you can get HDMI switches but I don't know if any of them have a DVI port.
