How'd you find that video, Ebbs? Searched for "worst fucking officiated race ever"? Holy shit. Good to see Edwards all fired up though. It's funny how they call it Castrol corner and that's where the oil was.

Mr Lefty

I think it was called the OIL SPILL at Nurmburg

Nicky Hayden had a similar save this past weekend, didn't he? Not QUITE as dramatic or off the bike as long, but very similar.

Loved his reaction. Priceless.

Wow... they really shoulda stoped it and cleaned up the track...

Don't have audio on this computer, but what was the deal with the red bike (ducati i think) checking the blue bike to take him out??

the flag men didnt let him know he was about to be lapped so move out of the racing line...

Besides, Foggy (#1) isnt the most svelt of riders anyway. Fast? yes. Smooth and calculated? no.

watching foggy ride gives me hope. that guys looks stiff and hamfisted riding... like me.

like JK was saying... the blue bike was a lap down... and should have ben notified about the lead lap bikes coming up behind him with a BLUE FLAG... but they were apparently too busy NOT stop'n the race on the account of the oil...

you know what i like about motorcycle racing... you can flip the double bird to the world like Colin did and nobody will get their feelings hurt. Its all understandable in motorcycle racing.

Now in auto racing or any pro sports it will be the end of the world and youre out of control, your kids are on crack, and you club baby seals on the side.

Mr Lefty
04-04-2008, 11:43 PM
yeah no shit... they won't even show that shit on camera usually... they'd be like SHIT SHIT GO TO COMMERCIAL!

the fans are the only ones that really know what is going on in life anymore.

Well then how do you explain what the AMA is doing?????

AMA= nascar on 2 wheels

marko138

Maybe worse if they enact all the rule changes they want to do. We could see the factories bow out of the whole deal....worst case scenario.

dReWpY
04-08-2008, 11:03 AM
what are they proposing?

marko138
04-08-2008, 04:43 PM
They are looking to sell the various racing series to the highest bidder...who will most likely have rule changes to various degrees. They are saying the problem will be with the factories. They have already invest so much money in racing that drastic rule changes will cost them alot of money to get the bikes to comply. The factories don't have the budget for drastic overhauls of the machines. And could ultimately lead to no pro racing in the USA.

The series was already sold Marko, to the Daytona Motorsports Group. Link here (http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2008/Mar/080307z.htm). There will continue to be pro racing no matter how the situation turns out, but if the factories don't like the changes that DMG has planned, there may not be any factory-supported teams in the series for a while after this year.
