Good deal. I wonder what the difference in the EXO-400 and the EXO-700 is besides the obvious difference of 300 in the model number ?

Thanks...well then that is a very good deal unless you must have a lighter helmet.

The 700 uses different/lighter materials... I'm not sure that head shape is a factor...

Cool deal. When I said lighter I meant for people that will only purchase Shoei or Arai and such and wouldn't buy a Scorpion at any price...partially because they are heavier I imagine.

Sorry I was kinda answering your first question and addressing Trip's answer at the same time...

I think that the venting is better and the lid is lighter on the 700 vs the 400. I don't think that head shape is a factor though. There that's a bit better.

The 700 cools a little better, and the aerodynamics are much improved.

Sometimes the 400 will provide a little lift if you catch the wind the wrong way, the 700 doesn't, not that Ive seen anyway.

They weigh the same

we're both wrong...

Here are the weights from Helmet Harbor.

Scorpion EXO-400 3lbs 10.8oz

Scorpion EXO-700 3lbs 11.6oz

I find that strange since the 400 is polycarbonate and the 700 is fiberglass..:idk:
