Corporate Strikes Again...

Its hasn't been a good last day or so... I was scheduled for my yearly review yesterday and recieved very high praise from my General Manager. However, after he left, I found out yesterday from the Area Director that my management position in Vero Beach is being eliminated as of July 22nd because of economic reasons. I've been offered a move to North Florida up near Tallahassee for a spot, but after all these years and getting screwed by Darden the last time this happened, I'm not really interested this time in a company move...

I think this may end the final chapter in my long restaurant career...

I think its time to move on and move forward...

No, I've been with Crispers which is owned by Publix. Unfortunately for me, the other two managers have been there longer so I'm the odd man out. I have looked into going into management with Publix but I haven't heard anything back yet from them.

Again, I've got a few weeks to think about things and what direction I want to move in... Thankfully this time, I'm out of debt and I have no immediate bills to worry about like the last time this happened...

But I'm tired of all the restaurant BS...
