Today is moving day and I am stuck in the ER taking a beating for a sunday night. We rented a van yesterday and made 2 trips out there and got a lot of boxes and crap out there.

We may only wind up with a smaller truck today and am not too confident we will get it all done today. theres still a lot of little shit and running around to be done along with moving all the bigger stuff. If we have to make multiple trips due to a smaller truck that may kill us.

So along with doing all this with little sleep and a busy ER here I am on phone call for jury duty this week so I will need to cancel it if I get called tomorrow since were moving.

I wont have the internet up at home for a few days but will be at the jobsite on tuesday so i will give you guys an update then.

A little background info would be nice. Where are you moving to? Why are you in the ER? Who is "we", and where is "there"?

thanx, karen has been doing a lot of packing over the last few weeks, but when I woke up for work tonight and looked around it seemed like there was still a lot to be done.

And to make matters worse here its frekin busy and my nurses are as slow as fucking molasses as far as getting stuff done. So much stuff is backed up now its ridiculous and its stuff I cant do to help.

Ugh. No time for a nap then. Maybe it will slow down soon and you can get caught up and catch a power nap. :)

BTW, did you get that link I PM'd you the other day?

i am not too optimistic, too much going on here and with things moving so slowly thats only compounding the mess. I am not sure if I got the link, I may have but my heads been spinning latley with all thats going on.

I will say last night was one of my more bizzare shifts in some time had some strange/interesting medical cases and just some real wacky people.

Man what a long fucking day. Worked sunday overnight and didnt get to bet till midnight last night and was up at 5:20 this morining. We didnt get anyone to help so it was just hte 2 of us.

We wound up with a bigger truck so we were able to do it in 2 trips which was good. I must have sweat out a few gallons of water yesterday too and am frekin hurtin today. I thought I was going to cry as I was swinging my leg over the bike

For me things havent realy sunk in yet, Iguess because things have been so hectic and trying to get shit sorted out.

Today karen took off and is getting a few last items from the appt and will then start unpacking, and I am going ot try to do a little each day as well as comple a dreaded list of things todo and get.

I def got my work cut out for me here.

ah the stages of new ownership have begun.

first it's OH MY GOD!!! I bought a house! I'm so far in debt, have so much responsibility, how will I ever keep this place up?

then "Oh this is going to be fun to fix up"

on to "whew this is a lot of work"

next up is "who the hell did this? they didn't know what they were doing."

right into "this is starting to suck!"

what else but "screw this I'm going riding/fishing/hunting"

finally "oh this is going to be fun I need to finish up a couple little projects from before"

The only thing that keeps me motivated sometimes is knowing what it looked like before compared to now. Chin up, we'll see you in a couple years.

I skipped home ownership and went straight to that step.
