how about handling and looks? both of which the F1 is superior

the front end of the Veyron looks stupid IMO, and the thing is a lot heavier than the F1

I'll take purity over complexity anyday.

There will eventually be faster cars than the Bugatti. That's progress.
There will never be another car like the McLaren.

The future is all safety nannies and "driver assistance" stuff that seperates people and machine. Dual clutch transmission (aka automatic transmission), stabilty control, launch control....in the end stuff that prevents you from having control.

I would bet money that the F1 would beat the Veyron's time on the TG track. It's a street-legal race car. The Bugatti is an elite Grand Touring car. They serve different purposes. Personally, I'd take the Bugatti :idk:

I'd be willing to pay more for the R500 than for the Atom... not only does it have a windshield, but it beat the Atom by a second and a half!

Caterham USA is listing Superlight rollers for $44k, figure $20-$30k for a drivetrain and you can beat an Enzo or a MC512 on the track? For a track toy, that's a mind-blowing value :willy:
