Texas get together [Archive]

Ok folks so once again I am planning on gracing the great state of texas with my presence. last time I did only one of you were compelled to come out and meet me, however this time will be different.

I will be in San Antonio the week of 16-20 november I will probably add a day or 2 on either the front or back of that week to sightsee, and since most of you are in or near Austin I will probably just take the drive up that way maybe spend a night in the area, or if someone has a bike they are willing to lend me we can go riding.

I didn't disagree, I've seen pics of her small place and I like what i see. That sounded way worse than I meant it to.

You're welcome to crash at the house if you need a place to stay I'm about 20 minutes south of downtown Austin.

Be great to have a beer with you if nothing else....

No, I'm staying at the one hotel next to the mall that is at the river walk, I think its a crown plaza, but I'm not sure.

Last time I was there I tried to rent a bike, but the only thing I could find was a little 100cc scooter and there was no way in hell I was gonna ride one of those from San antoino to Austin. Instead I just met with Caroline at some bar that was doing a bike night

Looks like I'll be in town from the 15th thru the 28th of Nov, and I'm contemplating renting either a sporty or a vrod that friday into saturday, and possibly sunday. Though depending on finances I'll either be looking for a couch or a shady motel, the type of place where I bring my own sheets and shower shoes.

I have a trackday on Black Friday - the Friday after Turkey day. Though, I'm out there at the track a few days a week. So, give me a shout when you're here.

I live about an hour North of there, so I can't help much with somewhere to stay.

I'm here in san antonio. If anyone can get out thursday night I can drive up to austin or somewhere within a 1 or 1 1/2 hour ride. I get done on thursday at 430, and can be on the road by 5.
