A Steelton man is charged with possessing PCP after he told police Monday during a casual conversation that he had drugs in his car.
Eugene A. Green, 22, was stopped for following another vehicle too closely on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Brecknock Township, and revealed the incriminating information as he was leaving the traffic stop.
State police Trooper Justin Hope let Green off with a warning for the traffic violation, but the driver told the trooper he had a marijuana cigar in the car as he was getting back into his vehicle.
The trooper had told Green he was free to leave before he volunteered the information, according to court documents.
"The traffic stop was over, I gave you your (identification) back and … you are free to leave," Hope had told the driver, the affidavit states.
Green told the trooper he had a marijuana cigar in the ash tray that his passenger smoked earlier, the affidavit says. The passenger wasn't charged Tuesday.
Green then allowed the trooper to search his car, without a warrant, and Hope found six 2-ounce vials of liquid PCP, according to police.
Green was at Lancaster County Prison Tuesday night after District Judge Rodney Hartman set bail at $250,000.
Green has prior convictions on a felony drug charge, assault and providing false identification to police.

No shit! Who the hell does PCP anymore? Jesus Grandpa get with the program, don't you know Meth is where it's at? Yeesh, he could have at least gotten caught with some crack or something....:wtlw:

I mean seriously next he'll get caught with some Angel Dust, Speed and LSD... He probably has a couple bottles of Laudanum in the trunk. Well since it's Pa, it could have been an Amish drug dealer, I guess....

Purple microdot usually involved duct taping people to chairs to keep them from jumping off the balcony. :eek: :p

In my reduced brain matter, these were much better drugs than meth or crack. At least we weren't robbing people, just harassing Taco Bell employees at 2am. :lol:

Yea I think you're right... I guess that I missed it. I saw my last hit of microdot when I went away to the military ('82) and then saw my first hit of blotter when I got back in '93...:lol:

Yeah I tried both "back in the day". I didn't care much for it and after a few attempts to see if "this time may be different". It was fun at first but I didn't like anything taking my mind from me and controlling it and taking hours to decide to give it back to me. :lol: After a few hours I'd be like ok...that was fun...let's get back to normal and it would say "no mofo...we're not done yet"....:lol
