When I got to work this morning I found out one of my co-workers murdered one of our regular customers yesterday. Mr Joe's body was found this morning after Jason was arrested.

I'm still in shock. Jason never portrayed the type of personality that would ententionally hurt anyone. He had to have been on something and/or led a double life that noone knew about, not even the people at work that he hung out with. He was always laid back, cool to everyone, a flirt, and always full of shit. Noone really knew about his priors, but I know I've heard him say a few times he had finally gotten his shit straight and was doing good for once.

Mr. Joe always had a smile for everyone. To think that these two happy, laid back people clashed and it resulted in Mr. Joe's death....

:( :(

R.I.P. Mr Joe. Your old smiling face will be missed :( (he'd been a regular at work for years and I knew him from the last time I worked there years ago)

I didn't know Jason very well, but it does remind me once again, that people aren't what they appear.

Humans suck.

Shit Rogue sorry to hear that! People always like to tell me that the chances of having violent crime happen to you are so slim (usually questioning my choice to have a gun permit) and this is another example of yes it is random but possible. I'll be thinking of you and your co-workers. Has to be hard to deal with.

i told steph that something like this happened to me about 6 weeks ago. a customer of mine got picked up for murder and he some how wound up in the hospital complaing of chest pains. well the cop that was assigned to the hospital was babysitting him and i guess they started talking about bikes...they both rode...and some how my name came up. when my buddy told me, i was like...dude, you don't know me...haha.

but yeah it really is scary what some people do in private

Agreed! I've gotten so that I don't even try to get too friendly with neighbors or random people anymore. I just keep to myself and mind my own business! Heck, I know more about AMJ (which is almost nothing) than I know about the people that live in the apts next door and below me.

That's fucked up!

The report says the guy has been convicted for robbery before..... didn't you work is some kind of "security systems company"?

And you co-worker looks like a tweeker (at least his eyes)

I haven't worked in the security industry in months. Right now I'm working at a restuarant until something better is found...and believe me, I'm looking.

His eyes in the mug shot are fucked up. I noticed that right away. That's not what he normally looks like. He works two jobs and worked all weekend and Monday at both. He was scheduled to come in to work Tuesday night but called in. If he was on something, he must have started Tuesday, because he didn't look or act any differently than he normally does the last few shifts he worked.

wow that kind of thing brings life into a whole new perspective. hope it doesn't bother you for too long.

I have a friend who "lost it" years ago. I still wonder about the times we were hanging out and what could have happened. he's doing life now.

suddenly you start to relook at things they have done or said and realize maybe the signs were there, they were just very subtle.

Unbelieveable. It's so freaky when it happens to someone you know like that. Makes you question everyone around you.
