News is just reporting that Titans/Ravens former quarterback Steve McNair was shot and killed this afternoon in downtown Nashville. Very sad to hear. He was a great player and well like here in Nashville. I used to see him out often at my local petstore buying fishfood.

Ahem, remember Eddie George? I hate to hear this about Air McNair he was a well liked guy as you mentioned and did alot for Nashville and his hometown.

On the late local news last night they said the woman dead with him was his 20 year old friend. They really haven't released much info, but the news reporter sounded like they wanted to hint that it was domestic. McNair was shot multiple times, the girl took one in the head and the gun was laying near her. They towed away his car and her Escalade, well it was in his and her name, to the CID impound. The guy that co-leased the condo with McNair, that they were in, found them and called the PoPo.
His Wife(X? IDK) and kids said they hadn't heard from him in a few days.

Oh I know Eddie George two but he left the Titans shortly after I moved to Nashville (and I was still a Eagles fan at the time, still am but like the Titans a lot too)

Wonder if the wife did it? Or if the mistress couldn't take it anymore and she did it. Will be interesting to see what they figure out. RIP either way. :(
