Fucking suck, all the new interns and residents start so yo ugot a bunch of people in new roles who think they know it all but realy dont. So far I have had to tell off a gyn, ent and ortho resident and tell them how to do their job.
Looks like its gonna be one of those years. last few years we have been rather lucky and have had decent residents, but these last few days have not been good so far.

So basically they know it all from book smarts and you have to readjust their attitude to realize they need real world smarts to actually do their jobs correctly.
Good luck, hopefully they'll realize you're trying to help so they won't fight you tooth and nail. :cheers:

Got into it prety good with the ortho guy last night and his ass is getting written up. He bitched and cried that I was wasting his time on a consult, after he tortured the pt for 20 min it was determined I was right and the pt needed to go to the OR immediateley. It was bad for the pt but I was glad that I was right and made it known to him I wouldnt try to waste his time next time I call him :lol:
