So, we are all in some way involved with motorcycles.

But what other things are you into?

I love sewing and doing dumb girly crafty things. If I was at home I'd post up some of the things I've made. Right now I am working on a basket made out of newspapers. :D

Pretty much just motorcycles. I race motocross and road so that occupies alot of time. Go carts sometimes. Swinging the clubs sometimes. Or gym time.

I can fix just about anything. And I can look at most things mechanical, without having them explained, and see how they work.

Now that I'm learning to fab, I really want my own metal shop.

The only reason I don't do mechanic work for my friends (aside from not being licensed) is because they expect so much when you're working for free that it's ridiculous. i had a buddy recently give me shit because I cut his reflector mounting brackets, ground them down and painted them so it would clean up the look of his bike. Keep in mind he asked me to do this.. Last week he bought saddle bags. They use the reflector mounting brackets to strap on to. Guess who's fault it was that they don't fit..

Snow Skiing! I miss it since moving so far South! I used to read a lot also since I flew so much but anymore my life is basically work, riding, Gym, playing online and hanging out with friends at various functions. I guess no real hobbies other than riding at the moment.

My family is first - I'm raising the next generation of over-achievers. Between marching band, swim team, etc.... then my world of motorcycles, we seem to have it covered.

I would LOVE to have some personal time.

I'm a perpetual student of all things nutrition & fitness and have been since I was about 16, although I would say this year has been particularly focused for me in this area. Its definitely a hobby that I wouldn't mind making a career out of if I didn't already love what I do.

Oh yeah I forgot to add playing guitar although I rarely play now. I can't get the right tone out of my setup. My super distortion pedal sounds like church music to me.

I actually play my guitar more than my bass. Which isn't much.

Dang!!!! A lot of health nuts in the house. I'm small with a high rate motabolism so I dont need to look good on my death bed. LOL I could use some extra muscle.

I'm obvisouly an internet junkie and gamer. I'll just take off on my human operated bike and just wonder off.

I would say Im a 4x4 enthuastbut theres no where to go where i moved to.

I love working anything mechanical or electrical. Nothing like fixing something some was going to throw just because a little something stopped working on it.

Pounding the pud seems to be a good activity to keep me busy for a minute.

Pretty much anything to do with the outdoors..gardening for food and pleasure, hiking, swimming in some cold ass water, studying plants, flowers, trees, and animals (part of my job but I like doing it). Snowboard!
Beating the hell out of a heavy bag is always good!

Work in the garden at home
Go to car/bike shows with the old man
Would love to take the SLR out more, but scared of what the moto vibrations would do to it.

Snowmobiling is another huge past time of mine
Martial arts - been into the martial arts for 25 years and been teaching for about 10

there are a bunch of other smaller things but that covers the big stuff.
What style? I got into MA at school. :rockwoot: TKD with a lot of fun useful stuff thrown in. (boxing, grappling, knife) No good schools around here though :skep:

All these weight lifting types are strange. Speed and flexibility and stamina (;) ladies... what, no takers?) are a lot more important to me than outright knock down a brick shithouse strength. :lol It's like comparing the V-Max to a 600cc sportbike. The Max may be brutal in short bursts, but it sucks for anything else.

Of course, I can't bulk up. I LOSE weight when I don't go the gym. I move more and more weight each time, but I'm still a skinny mofo. It's terribly funny seeing some bulky goon slug a bag for a minute and about have a heart attack, when I can go for an hour and still have the bag trying to rip the bracket out of the wall.

My problem is that i don't really have a "thing", i've got bunches of old stuff... right now, projects consist of:
2 sailboats from the 1970s, neither one seaworthy
2 1960s cars, both off the road for more than a year
3 bikes waiting for restoration (79, 81, and 85)
2 old sewing machines to be fixed so that i can finish some leather projects (1953 & 1929)
A 1930s-vintage South Bend lathe taken apart, which i bought to help with a machine i assembled to sort copper pennies from zinc (which needs to be rebuilt)
High-powered air rifle waiting for me to clear a range in the backyard
Roughly a terabyte of porn i've downloaded but never have time to watch
I just bought a 1940s-vintage belt sander that needs to be cleaned up...

So much time, so little to do!
Strike that! Reverse it! :willy:

When you're skinny, your going to continue to loose muscle as the years go on. If you have good amount of it at 30 and you continue to train, you still look good at 60.
