Sweet. i miss out on so much good stuff by not having hills around here. I actually expected more chaos and shoddily-built goofball rides... those 3 looked pretty serious. Looks like they're going a good 35-40 mph, no?

I dont remember what the speeds were for that race, but this past weekend we had a high 58mph gps verified speed. the all time high speed record for th NJ group is 72 up on Blue mountain in PA, the all time verified speed comes from a guy in venesuala with a top speed of 96 on a 13 mile run. The courses we have aren't either long enough or have enough altitude changes to really go any faster than we are.

GRRR teh next race we are running had one of our racers almost break 70, we will be running that in Aug again, it was pretty sketchy the last time we ran it having rained the night before.

The cars are actually built quite well for being built around hand trucks and go kart parts, shopping cars and scrap metal
