Have you seen the prices of cones lately?
We're in a recession, man! :wtfru:

I counted at least 100 places where I'd have eaten pavement.
Then I stopped counting.

I'd get lost and need a GPS about 5 turns in.

I did this last month. As a favor to a friend, I paid $50 to try this. I didn't have time to practice and I showed up late for the race. First prize was a new ZX6.
Fastest bike through the maze wins. Time is deducted for hitting cones, knocking over cones, missing a turn, putting your foot down, and crashing. I brought my old, I mean vintage GS1000. Most riders had supermotos. It was dry and they had used chalk to make arrows showing the way through the cones. It was set up in the Bronco stadium parking lot, and it was tight. You got two tries. The first time I put my foot down once. The second time I tried to go faster and put my foot down twice. At least I didn't crash. Only a dozen riders signed up and it was for a good cause, homeless veterans. And you could win a brand new motorcycle. How did I do? I came in last.

That's pretty badass. My old SecaII would be perfect for those races. It did really well at very low speeds.

The gearing helps ..but that is knowing how to move a bike. The bike cops here in CA have to take courses like that. I've seen one cop do a U-turn from the one lane to the to left turn lane on the other side of the road without hitting any outer lines. Shit was tight.
I wouldn't be able to remember where to go on those courses.

Yeah, I'd be lost after turn 4 but it looks like a lot of fun!
