So I'm at Waterrock Knob Visitor Center (very remote) today when this woman lets out a blood curtling scream and damn near ran through the door trying to get out. Her husband ran out to see what the problem was. Grabbed my medical bag and was trying to get out the door through all the people when her husband came storming back in three shades of purple. He was furious. I ask him if she was OK. His response "NO SHE'S NOT SHE'S TRAMUATIZED!!! A MOUSE RAN ACROSS HER FOOT!!! I can't believe you have a place with vermin " I did the whole I'm very sorry sir but this is a remote wooded area spill. This only made him madder. He ranted some more and then actually said "I don't know how and if she's ever going to get over this tramua?" To this I actually laughed in his face (Sorry I couldn't help it) To this he fummed " You won't be laughing long I'm going to call a lawyer and because of your rude uncaring manner you will be listed in the suit. What's your name?" I pointed to my name tag and told him to be sure and spell it right. :lol

What is this fucktard going to sue a National Park for having wild animals????
God you got to love people????

WOW!!! Sometimes you just can't help but wonder what the hell is wrong with people?? Got to wonder how some people actually make it through life.... seriously! :wtfru:

And some wonder why I have more respect for dogs (and other animals) than most people... see above

I would have laughed in his face too! ROFL

The guy was obviously an idiot.

Hopefully he is an idiot blowing smoke and not an idiot with an attorney.

Our national parks are some of the last places in this country that Darwin is free to prove his theories.

In our litigious society I have often wondered how long we had before places like the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Yellowstone, etc. were deemed too dangerous for the public and fenced off. :tremble:

Totally agree. People do stupid things then want to blame the animals that show them how stupid they are! Trust me I have lots of stupid people stories

people who sue for stuff like that should be kicked in the head repeatedly until they get some freakin' sense.

Unreal.

I 100% honestly believe someone should just execute people like this. Doesn't even have to be painful...but they need to go.

I'm so glad you laughed.

Be careful though, you might have to pay for her therapist so she can work through this traumatic episode. Poor thing is not going to be able to leave the house anymore....how can she with this on her plate? :lmao:

therein lies the problem, with no more birds around who's gonna eat the mice? those lazy ass snakes aren't doing it, they only eat once a week then just off sunning themselves. LOL

seriouosly I hope the lawyers laugh him out of their office as well. did anyone else see the mouse or is this a made up for free money type of hysteria?

You win the hero of the day award. I'd probably have gotten fired for making fun of both husband and wife. Pansies.

Good for you Ducati Diva!! I'm glad you laughed at them, I'd have done the same.

But at the end I would have told them I was contacting PETA and they would be in touch for her traumatizing the mouse, could I have the name of their lawyer, thank you.
