I've played the guitar for a bit. Still waiting to get good. I had to quit my last band due to a move to Pensacola and haven't found a new one yet. I'm starting to get ansy, started learning Cat Stevens acoustic songs last night :rockwoot:

I have no current pictures of my stuff or any scanned that are easy to access, however, I've been a percussionist for 20+ years and am a tenor I vocalist.
There are lots of musicians on here IIRC

We used to do Wild World every week during my acoustic gig days. I love Cat Stevens.
Geez, Steve . . . I didn't realize you were in P'Cola now. I was there for a whole week not too long ago for work and didn't have anything to do in the evenings.

I've been messing with Wild World. I love that little intro medly.
Just moved to PCola in February due to wifeys military commitments. Too bad we couldn't hook up. There is actually a pretty good little downtown here with local musicians playing nightly. You still running that shop?

It's a three channel dual actually. I couldn't imagine cranking a 150W tube head. The dual is 100w and only sounds good (to me) when it's cranked. Of course, then everyone hates me. :td:

I am not a musician in the slightest, but I LOVE Cat Stevens. I have been trying to find some 78s of his but I have yet to find any around here.

It still a very nice set up. I play guitar a little bit. No pics of my rig but it's nothing to speak of anyway. Last Saturday I played bass for a couple of songs in a blues band that my buddy is in. I'd never played bass before but it's pretty easy,... well when your playing blues it is anyway.

Got rid of the shop, but we turned the whole upstairs into a recording studio. 2 isolation booths as well as the main room to record in, plus all the gear to fill it up. It's been fun.
I stopped in Hopjacks one night on a reference from a friend and they had a bitchin' bluegrass band playing. It was awesome.
And of course I spent some time down at the actual beach and got to see a few other really good bands while I was in town. Lots of music around there. I had a good time.

I've played bass for over 12 years. About 3 years ago I started playing drums. I've got pics...but can't access them at work.

I am not a muscician but was a precussionist for 9 years. Marching, concert, jazz bands. Drummers are seldom thought of as actual musicians, just party animal hacks that drive a rythm...

That's right, a band is made up of 4 musicians and a drummer.

yep, that's why I said "percussionist" above as well
People tend to forget that there are other instruments out there other than drums in the percussion section!
