For employment, what would you do?

If money, education and experience weren't needed for consideration, what would you do?

Obviously, not working would be most people's first choice, but try and be creative here.

I'd like to add that to my answer as well! :dthumb: I've done some work with shelters and loved it, I just dont have enough time to spend as much as Id want. Tho one day I hope to open my own shelter, after I retire and have some land and cash to put into it.

Not I.
The skill and the respect earned would be something, but the fame isn't something I'd enjoy.
Also, sports careers come with a fairly short lifespan. You're on top of the world until age or injuries stack up on you... then you better have some decent investments and a plan for 'retirement'.

You went and said "paid to be a bad guy" and listed all the "cool" stuff but I couldn't help but think that it would be lifetime of real estate companies contracting you to fart in elevators to to test on focus groups.

I was talking to a buddy the other day, his cousin or something does it for a living and his specialty is military bases. They actually were admitted on base with a library card, then broke into the security forces offices, left love notes for all the folks and stole the hard drive out of the bosses computer, took photos sitting in different top secret areas and were never even seen or questioned. funny thing I just sent off an application to a driving school. :)

I have been try to figure out what I want to do for months now. The only two things that came to mind was reopening my detail shop but doing it solo. Getting my Class 1 (CDL+Class 1 in Nova Scotia Canada).

The main problem with over the road is I would be away from my kids which would suck. But right now I'm doing construction and still only see my kids for a short period of time most days. So IF I could have some runs that had me home each weekend it wouldn't be much different from what is going on right now, other then the fact that they couldn't come in the room and give me a kiss while I'm half asleep as they leave in the morning.

My brother added Firefighter to my list about 2 weeks ago. I have thought about it many times before but never went for it. I'm thinking about it now. One thing I like about the job is if I could get on here they run on a 24 hours on/ 72 hours off system. So I would have more money then I do now and more free time.

I only worry about being bored with all the free time. But I do want a boat and after a while I should make more then enough for the boat I want and have the free time to use it. I could also go back to the boxing gym to work out/train/or volunteer or a combination of the three.

I'm still trying to decide what will make me happy.

BTW if I didn't have kids I would love to be able to drive truck have have a ramp and mount added to the frame so I could haul a motorcycle around with me and ride during the 10 hour breaks or the resets. :rockwoot:

Ride and review motorcycles from a short female prospective. I would also love to do the zoo keeper thing where I could educate about animals to kids, hands on...used to do love to walk downtown with my 6foot iguana and let people touch/learn about him.

I want the freedom to do whatever it is that I wake up feeling like doing that day...I tend to change my mind a lot but here are a few that come to mind.

baker/pastery chef
something with fitness (used to teach aerobics)
own an all womens workout club (belonged to one and it was great)
lazy bum
model (used to model wedding gowns/formal wear)
