anyone watch this on the discovery channel? last night they highlighted the R6 and R1. a few weeks ago they did ducati. i thought it was interesting.

Nope but since I have the R6 and R1 I wish I had seen it. I'll check for future shows.

Yeah I watched it last night. It was very good. I was impressed when they said the 500GP motors were putting out 180HP.

I never saw the Alpinestar one.
Saw all the rest, Yamaha is my favorite. :D

I never saw the Alpinestar one. :DIt's not only A*, it's an Italian episode. I forget if it's MV Augusta or Bimoda that "headlines" it.

very cool serious, goes back to how these co's got started.....

as loom makers was kawi i think. and other crazy stuff.

disc HD has some great shows in general, , mostly UK stuff.

We've got a series recording set for it on DVR, but so far I think the only one we've watched was the Bimota/Alpinestars episode, which was really cool. Well done series, just haven't gotten around to watching them all.

apparently this show is part of a lineup called motorcycle monday on that HD theater channel. i DVR'ed 3 shows...twist the throttle, hot bikes and that isle of man TT show.

Yeah - those are pretty interesting. They have about 10 or so episodes that they seem to cycle through over and over. I enjoyed the Ducati episode - watching the techs put the engines together by hand while smoking cigs and taking their sweet ass time. :lol
