lol, a colt was my first car, I think it was a 79 or something. Twin-stick (4x2) transmission, so it was effectively an 8-speed. Steel bumpers.......plowed down a traffic sign with no visible damage even though it weighed less than 2000 lbs.

Speaking of Colts. Can anyone direct me to some info on them. I pulled a turbo off of one. I dont know the year, but it was a DOHC engine. The turbo is water/oil cooled which is what I wanted.

Also, who made the Colt?

COMPLETELY different car. colt is a mitsubishi through and through. the Omni was the old french simca platform given a good going through by dodge and then powered by either a shitty vw 1.6 or dodge 2.2/2.5

I just said it reminded me of that car and by this I meant as in the time period...both said Dodge on them plus both were fast little cheap cars...again for those times.

I have a Dodge in the garage now and have owned a Mitsubishi Starion Turbo a Dodge Conquest TSI and a Mitsubishi Eclipse as well.

I know what you mean. I remember my brother in law buying a Dodge Daytona Turbo Z and I had a Honda CRX that was hopped up with Webber carbs...a cam and a header (about all they had for them back then :lol:) We raced and were pretty much even and then later got pulled over and BOTH given a ticket by the same officer for speeding. Live and learn. :lol

I ended up owning 4 Honda CRX's with the last 3 being the SI (fuel injected) versions.
