Har, de, Har, har! I merely mentioned that we seem to have a lot of "off topic" stuff verses bike related stuff... In fact, some guys post nothing but off topic material. I used to block off topic but then I missed some of the personal posts from my "friends" so I unblocked it. When we started this forum, off topic was used mostly for personal threads like Rider's "what would you do" thread, Gas's house thread and the occasional news story or whatever. It was an area where we shared personal tidbits about ourselves, what we do, our families, other hobbies/interests. You know, the kind of stuff that you never share. I have no clue what you look like, what part of the country you live in, what you do... Heck, this is a bike forum and I don't even know what kind of bikes you own ! Although, I do admit that you may have posted that when I had you on ignore... For all I know, you're an obese, 36 year old shut in that lives in your mother's basement!:lol: You make fun of me for posting "uninteresting" things about my motorcycle on this forum, well at least they're motorcycle related for the most part.:wink:

I don't understand why it's a "shitty dynamic" to only have people interested in that sort of thing in there. I mean, since you guys joined up, we've had a Fla sub-forum, a ladies sub-forum, etc. Why not a "news" section? It'll allow those that aren't interested to block it and everyone else can leave it open. What's wrong with that?

I clicked on "new posts" and got approx 20 hits, 17 of which were "off topic" and 15 of those were news items, What's wrong with making it possible for me and other like minded individuals to block these if we choose? Every time I suggested that I got shit. Besides, not all news items are inflammatory. I have war room blocked but I'd imagine that they have a ton of traffic already.
