This was at Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri, They were heading back from watching a speed shootout, along with thousands of other boats from big cruisers to other powerboats. Check out some vids on Youtube about the shootout.
Both are from that same day

No, Ive been following a discussion about this on facebook. Pretty sure they crossed a wake, the driver turned the boat to the side slightly, and they crossed another wake while continuing to rotate until they hit the water sideways and everybody was thrown. It also looks like everybody in the boat was braced off something, girl in the yellow off the side of the boat, girl in the pink off the chair, and the 4 people in the rear off each other and the side of the boat.

in short they all got fucked up

I quoted this from a Powerboat forum I'm part of.

Came down on top of a big wake trimmed up and running too loose when he hit the wake at possibly an awkward angle. Not enough wetted surface for proper control.

Oh boo hoo, you did something stupid and paid for it and now the net thinks you are a joke. Post the deal with it gif for me in response to that tool.

They got pretty fucked up...I mean clearly they were making some stupid decisions with there life...But you can't sit there and say you've never put your own life in danger before.

I am intrigued at how limp he looked when the driver flew across the boat.

Yes, I have made a lot of bad decisions. I have been made fun of pretty bad for some of my bad decisions. That's part of learning.

Was hilarious...

Not many of us have made the monumental decision to post the video of almost killing yourself and your friends.

That decision I will never understand.

I think they had a TV camera guy on board based on this comment below from the quote. Which adds to the stupidity while boating like an idiot.

The guy from lake tv fractured his hip and broke his wrist.
