my carbs were fine... even on cold Alaska spring mornings... never had an issue. you should be alright... yeah have someone show you how to clean AND SYNC the carbs... it'll save you time and money in the future if you go with a Carb'd bike. I never had problems with starting like I said... mine was with the fuel'n at low rpm's, the jet kit just made it worse...

You think carbs are tough to work on...wait for the headache you'll have if something goes wrong with the FI.

A well tuned carburated bike will run just as good as fuel injection.

That being said....I'm not ever going back to carbs.

eh, the buell's are too "big" for him... he'll end up (looping) on another SS 600.
