Black magic... seriously...

it's like you need to pull the piston, it needs to be a medium mocha with a hint of caramel color, cloverleaf shaped burn marks, two shiny spots at 10 and 2, etc....

and what's funny is that what I just described is true

Unless you're running decaff, and then reading the plugs/piston seems to be a whole different deal

I love to ride but hate the pain, so looking for something more comfortable.

I rode to the UP of Michigan in October, with two guys I work with at the TSA.. Very nice unpopulated area.... logged about 1900 miles in 5 days.. It was on that trip that I decided the GSXR must go.

Rent a Busa for a trip and see if that will fit the bill. More than enough raw power and still nimble enough to get through winding roads, but stable and comfortable enough for moderate touring.

Quoted for truth. G-Rex has 50k miles on his Busa from touring on it. :dthumb: 5500 miles of which I was on the back. :D

I have the bike I want....the M109 is just awesome....but....I would love to have a big, nasty, naked streetfighter....no reason to have it other than hooligan-ism...but...I want it anyway...not as a replacement...but as an addition to the garage.

The new Ducati would be PERFECT.... *drool*

It's not big, but it's definitely nasty and naked. Try out the Aprilia 5.5 SXV. If that mutha doesn't blow your mind, then I don't know what is.

If I get a chance to get a new bike anytime soon it will be the Street Triple

But that chance is slim, so I am hoping there will be more options when that time rolls around.
