they seemed like a solid team and only got better after last year. They quietly took care of business while everyone was going on about washington, philly and pittsburgh.

I knew from the start Montreal would be there biggest problem, as they have been for 90 years.

But I agree, theyve been getting better over the last couple of years. To this day I cant believe Ottawa traded (ie. GAVE AWAY) Chara to them. And Thomas has been one of the biggest suprises ever over the last two years.

Why don't we just hold on for a second. That game was disappointing, but the series isn't over yet. If anything the Lightning have shown throughout the playoffs that they can be explosive and resilient. Just ask the Pens how they were feeling before the Lightning took 3 wins in a row, 2 of which were in Pit, to eliminate them.

The game last night was definitely winnable, just too many things were just a little bit off. Sure, Thomas was good last night, but considering the Bolts have scored 5 goals in 3 of the 5 games this series he is by no means unbeatable. If the Bolts can string two strong offensive performances together they have a decent chance of making the Finals.

Maybe, but they still have to beat the Lightning one more time to get to the Finals.

I wonder if Vancouver will burn their city down again if they lose?
