So lets say what my friend said was true. If he did miss wire the signals, I would think the fuse for the signals would blow. I just dont get it the bike acts like it has no battery. I put the battery on charge and is charging. I should be able to push start it if the battery is dead.

Guys, I am so worrying about having my bike back on the road, I really aint thinking bout.. dumb dick the electricial specialist... He used to install car stereos at best buy before joining the Air Force..

Is there another location where other fuses hide? Have you checked? A spark, huh? That's weird.

Not always true... bikes aren't completly like cars... the alternators don't put out as much juice... so starting an FI bike may not work by push start... :idk: didn't work on my friends SV when his battery died...

don't know for sure though...

but like DLit said... talk to a dealer see if they know of a hidden master fuse.

My bike is carbed and I can pop start it. Push start then pop the clutch in first gear and hit the throttle hard.

rider76 06-10-2008 10:33 PM

Ok, I just pushed this fucker for 2 blocks trying to push start it.... If I get it going fast enough( dont know how fast the speedo is digital) the headlights and guage lights will come on after I let out on the clutch, but it wont start...the lights only come on for a second.. maybe the compression of the engine? I charged the battery and still nothing.. I have never heard of this shit....

Thats what I think, but I couldnt find another one, the owners manual only mentions the ones I have already checked:idk:

Mr Lefty 06-10-2008 10:38 PM

is the battery still good? try a NEW battery... many times things like this can ruin a battery.

again make the fucker pay for it

t-homo 06-10-2008 10:39 PM

My bike wouldn't start before 10 miles an hour. Its best to find a hill and a friend to push you. If the bike is too dead, the plugs wont be able to fire causing you to be SOL. Did charging help at all?
