DO NOT use the T-rex's on the Busa!
I have a set of T-rex's and they are fine for what they are. I turned a few people into T-rex customers because they were looking for a bargain. That said, you get what you pay for: My front T-rex is the convertible one. I can't remove the front axle unless I lift from the lower triple. I have bent two of the pins and broken another one over the last two years. This is on a 675 in race trim. I'd imagine your Busa is a bit heavier. The rear stand is not a one piece unit like the Pit Bulls. It bolts together, so while you don't have to worry about the stand itself bending, the bolts can become loose and the threads become wallowed out. The adjustable pieces that actually touch the swing-arm have bent slightly. Again, much lighter bike. In short: big, heavy, pretty bike = spend the coin and get the Pit Bulls. |
^ thanks

Engine crane FTW :rockwoot:
When you're pulling the whole front end off a bike, accept no substitutes! |
Love my Pitbulls that I got used for a good deal but also owned a Vortex rearstand that I also liked alot.

The padded part that makes contact with the ground kept it from getting scratched up or scratching the floor and the built in axle holders was a bonus as well. |

Seriously, I have pitbull and Vortex stands and I find myself always using the vortex stand because of the removable handle and the axle holders. Of course, with your tail section situation, you might want to go with one armed PB...:idk: |
