While the driver deserves a wake up call I'd be reluctant to take it out on the horses. They already have to deal with the dickhead driver sitting on their back all day.

How do I sound like a punk? I pulled over and was surprised that the rider behind me did too. Moving to the right or pulling over to let faster riders by is a common courtesy and a safe way of riding. Punks are riders who won't let you pass.

Ah, no, pulling over is a courtesy and you should never come to expect it. It's a nice thank you, like a girl asking for it in the face after she just fucked you. The fuck is good, but her wanting it in the face is like icing on a cake.

However, you expect to blow it on her face when she may have other plans.

You are the punk, the rider was enjoying his day and is never obligated to let you by and that is the safe way of riding and the LAW of the land. That's the simple rules of the road, you can turn around or stop like you did. You complaining about it is just retarded and makes you sound like an idiot.

I deal with people who don't pull over all the time at the gap. I am the danger in that situation and not them, I am the one choosing to attempt to make the pass, ride behind, or pull over. It's up to me, they legally and rightfully have the line and the road.

Why do you for one second believe pulling over is the safe way to ride? Would you cause danger to this person?

Trip, I thought you were referring to how he always gets on here and sucks his own dick because he is a better rider than the people he encounters.

The Busa rider should have moved a little towards the shoulder line so that No Worries could have passed him without crossing the centerline. If that opinion makes me a punk, so be it. At least I would have had the courtesy to do as I describe.

The white busa with blue accents is a 2010 model. Probably a brand new rider.

While I wouldnt have said it like Trip, I kinda agree. Its your responsiblity to make a safe pass, not his to pull over for you.

If he's a newer, inexperienced rider, chances are he never even realized you were there. Having helped alot of newbies along, the most important thing I had to stress to them was to RIDE YOUR OWN RIDE, and DONT WORRY about what everyone else is doing because its THEIR (as in the wanna be passer) responsiblity, not yours (the newbie) to make that safe pass.

Not everyone is as good as you may be and its significantly harder for someone whos not comfortable on their ride to be watching a mountain road, their mirrors for folks behind them and making sure they dont fall off the mountain.

I hope he doesn't show up at the rally AND ride behind me cause #1 I'm enjoying the ride and probably going too slow for you and #2 I'm on a cruiser which will probably just piss him off even more. And #3 I come from the land of straight roads so it may take me a few minutes to get used to, actually, I don't know, TURNING! :lol I would hate to fall off a mountain and ruin everyone's ride that day...

the chi 04-19-2010 10:35 AM

 Enh, we are really laid back at the rallies, a better group you'll never find. People dont get left behind, we always know the faster riders will be stopped waiting ahead and its def a ride your own ride environment. I cant wait!
