Brush your teeth, drink your milk, study hard, obey your parents, and someday you too can carry the front wheel aloft!

Ya know, my kid loves bikes and cars, but if I wheely for him, or do a burn out, he just gives me a blank stare, like 'come on old man, quit trying to impress me'??

very nice,

it's always cool to stop at lights and see little kids faces plastered against thier window looking at the bike. they don't seem to care what style it is, only that it's on two wheels.

Yep I try to acknowledge them with a wave...a blip of the throttle or whatever. Same in the Z06. I remember when I was a kid and loved bikes and hot cars and thought it was cool when the guy driving them acknowledged me with the same.

This reminds me of that thread about the mom who flashed killboy with the kids in the back

reminded of when we went to a local bike night. had my son with and a guy showed up with a viper. everyone was trying to get a look at the car and my son couldn't get through the crowd to see. guy came up behind us later. "was hoping you guys were still here" "did you want to see the car" to my son. he was like 8 at the time. guy leaves it running and gets out. lets my son sit in the drivers seat. needless to say the next few years had vipers all over his walls.

I went to a Big Boys Toy show here in Wichita once....took my old GSX-R750....all kinds of jet skis...boats....motorcycles...cars....on display. When I left, I was gearing up at my bike and a family of 4 walked towards me....Mom and Dad and 2 boys....maybe 8 and 10....they were eyeing the bike after probably hearing "don't touch that!! leave that alone!!! get off of that!!" from their obviously over protective parents all afternoon....

I asked the youngest one....you want to fire it up? Hit this button right here....which he did. Both of them took turns sitting on it and revving the piss out of it before walking away spazzed out of their minds.

Their Dad looked cool with it...their Mom? Not so much. :lmao:
